Flutie was 5' 8" if he was + / - a hair on any side... but OMG that arm was Rodgers-esque...
Raises the question- how far ahead of his time WAS Flutie?
(Editorial aside: Relevant to an age of mobile, sub-6'1" QBs - at what point should Kyler Murray think about picking up a glove and spikes?)

Kyler needs to get his head in the game, wasting talent

Kyler has been entitled all of his life. For the 1st time in his life he's not the most gifted athlete on the field.

I dont expect him to change his ways.

Did Flutie get hurt a lot?

This is true. Would be a ballsy move. It only takes one GM though.

I’m telling ya…these narratives from the experts change all the time. There is no consensus #1 player in this draft…so you’re going to hear about the Texans “strongly considering” drafting both Stroud and Young…as well as other players…with the #2 pick

Truth be told, he ran a semi-platoon QB offense in Buffalo, splitting up starting time with Rob Johnson, into his late 30s and stayed off the trainer's table for the most part, so yeah... he was pretty durable, all told.

Exactly.......we have a long way to go and the narrative will change daily, by the time the draft hits I expect another dark horse QB will the "new cant miss" prospect. FYI, I have never been a fan of most QB`s that come out of Ohio State, they all seem to fizzle out

Maybe he’s a MASSIVE outlier. I just hope that he is if we take him :) I have my doubts, obviously

I hope he's right but does Lance have the connections to say this with confidence? Just two years ago 49ers traded three 1sts and a 3rd to move up to take an FCS QB that had only played one season.

Sounds like he’s basing it on history which is true. Yes there are outliers but trades like that don’t happen all too often. Believe I read that the #1 overall pick has only been traded 4 times or something.
