I don't know what this means. Also Giddey averages more turnovers than Green so I don't really know what you are saying. Are you trying to say Giddy has a better Assitst to TO ratio than Green? That is absolutely true, because Giddey is a better passer than Green.
Absolutely. It's a common debate tactic by bad faith people to single out a trivial inaccuracy to ignore a valid point.
Yes. You implied he's a more efficient scorer by bringing up fg%. That is literally why you brought up fg%. It's like bringing up fg% to compare Steph Curry and Clint Capella. Clint Cappella has a higher fg% than Curry. Must be the more efficient player I guess.
Another tactic of bad faith people is to continually cite false information, even after its been called out. It's a testament to your lack of character. Instead of defending it (since it's indefensible), you should've owned it, made the necessary adjustments to your arguments, and moved on.
Giddey is having a much better season than Jalen and it's not even close. Jalen is slightly better scorer than Giddey and Giddey clears him in every other aspects of the game. It really shouldn't be that difficult to understand.
Offense makes it very difficult for the Rockets to score. The issue as ive said is both personnel and coaching. They don’t have much off ball screens. You don’t really see pin downs or down screens or flares. Most of the action is off a high screen and roll or double drag. And we have a center who can’t jump for alley oops off the roll like capella. Plus he’s slow to help defend getting into early foul trouble almost every game. Then we have a backup SG playing point who makes wrong reads and doesn’t pass often making the offense stagnant. Plus he sets the offense up from the wings or corners a lot of times. Really makes it difficult to run an efficient offense. So much can be done to free up Green and Smith for them to get their spots or an open lane but instead we make it so hard to score with 5 out or 1-4 offense.
I also brought up rebounding and assists which you continue to ignore. I guess you're just reading what you want to read. Why did you bring up Curry/Capela? Is it your contention that Giddey and Jalen Green don't have similar roles on their teams?
When I'm I continuing to cite false info? You are the one continually saying that my initial statement of one year is wrong when I'm referring to years out of high school playing ball before joining the NBA. You are fixated on the 5 months for some reason. Is a 11th grader in the same grade as a 10th grader because they are less than 5 months apart birthdate wise?
Lol dude. You made a specific claim that Giddey is a more efficient scorer than Green. I bring up Curry and Capella to show you how stupid fg% is.
better shooting percentages mean jack squat when jalen is scoring more efficiently via TS% no? Better assist number b/c his main job is to distribute the ball while Jalen's job is to score. Jalen improved his assist numbers while Giddey's assist went down Rebounds is b/c of the system. Our center is getting 8 rebounds. u gonna fault green for that? If Chet was playing Giddey rebound would go down. like i said u can always cherry pick stats and its all subjective. I think green is having a better season b/c he's improving and his scoring is up which is his main job. Would i prefer it to b more efficient sure, but it's more efficient than Giddey.
Then perhaps I misspoke. Can you provide a quote where I said that Giddey was a more efficient scorer than Green?
and? How many times after did I say they are a year apart in terms of their class and how much time they had between high school and college? Every time and you keep ignoring it because you want to create a bad faith narrative that I'm still lying. You want me to edit the initial sentence I typed and provide context that means by class level?
The moment your brought fg% into the debate. The only reason someone would bring that up is to say "this person is more efficient".
Thanks for exemplifying my point lol. Yes a person on much lower volume has a slightly higher ts% than a all time prolific scorer on significantly higher volume. So now imagine the level of dumbass someone is at when they are comparing someone who has a higher ts% AND higher volume and saying that the other guys is more efficient scoring wise.
Honestly, no. I think TS% is a flawed metric. For instance, why is a free throw attempt weighted at only 0.44? Makes no sense to me. Here's what you don't understand. A player's job is based on what he's good at. If Jalen Green had elite court vision and passing, his job would be that of a playmaker. And regarding your rebounding argument, can you explain why Kevin Porter Jr. is averaging 5.5 rebounds? According to your logic, that shouldn't be possible since the Rockets' system doesn't allow for guards to get rebounds.
