Again go compare Westbrook at 20 and Green at 20 in fg% at the rim. That's the difference between someone who just throws the ball up and someone who has some finesse around the rim

both have been pretty meh. Giddey made improvements on offense, but is still very inefficient by league standards. Still can't draw any fouls, and assists numbers are down due to Shai initiating the offense more. Green has gotten better at drawing fouls and assists are up. meanwhile 3 point shot is worse, and defense is just as bad or maybe just slightly better

No it isn't lol. The 2 years post high school vs 1 year post high school is what matters more. It's the same thing with grade school kids being in different grades being only 5 months apart because of what time of the year they were born.
Compared to Jalen Green, Giddey has a significantly better fg%, better 3pt%, almost double the rebounds, and more assists. Even if they're both pretty meh, one is clearly outperforming the other.

Jalen green ppg was always higher than giddey last season, his stats ppg/reb/ast went up his ability to get the line increased His shooting efficiency went down Giddey improved also but his ppg improvement isnt that dramatic. 12.5 -> 15
