I think there's like two KPJ fans though. I think most people are KPJ defenders because he's young too and a lot of the sentiment against KPJ is as if he is a finished product when he's really in the same age group as these others guys. Yeah, Jabari doesn't have many fans or people defending him. That is kind of odd.
It's really hard to defend Jabari now. Similar to how hard it was defend Jalen his first half of his rookie season. The only thing patient rational people can tell people who aren't used to seeing this many young players playing at the same time is "be patient". But you know that isn't going to work.
The Rockets are not organized in a way that would allow them to play to their strengths and win. No they wouldnt win a chip but technically we have enough talent to make the play in, its just not used properly. I know thats hard to see if youve never played organized ball but the Rockets lose in the same way every game. If they stopped doing those things they would develop more and maybe win a few more games. This is mainly about development. Allowing them to play in this way is dangerous for the future. I know you wont get this, ya'll never do. Again I MADE POSTS SIMILAR TO THESE ABOUT STEVE NASH. People were so convinced coaching doesnt matter, it does. I cant wait til we get an actual NBA caliber coach so you will understand.
coaching matter's when you have the players to go along with that person. They need to coincide and mesh with each other to fit. If you have a sorry/unbalanced roster for whatever reason whether its rebuilding, bad players whatever the case may be, it doesn't matter who the coach is at the end of the day because losing comes along with that recipe. The first thing you need on your roster is that 1 player who clearly separates themselves from everyone and shows the potential of consistently impacting the game in a positive way towards winning. Things organically fall into place after that and pieces of the puzzle slowly build if your working on the right track. Right now the rockets do not have that. Its only players with upside and fans projecting what this or that player is. The rockets are literally still in step 1 with a collection of guys trying to figure out there place in this league at 19/20 years old. Whether someone is Team Green/Sengun/Bari/KPJ actually doesnt matter because none of these guys have proven they are that guy. We have half the forum being player only fans literally complaining every single day with their bias and projections. and it's absolutely possible than none of these guys will turn into it the star theyre adamantly sure will happen. In fact it's far likely every single pick the rockets make isn't a home run. Because that's how it is. You have a team full of guys who could still be in college. You're not going to get a organized team with structure, not this soon. That's what they're trying to still figure out amongst all the other things. This is literally part of the growing pains in the early stages. It will continue to be that way until the rockets actually get that 1st true guy. Teams get lucky and that guy falls into their lap sooner rather than later.
