Tate should start (at the point)

Did you just say that Tari is more of the mold of a self creator than Green?

Okay this proves that Tate shouldn't be pg if the suggestion of him being pg comes from someone with that absurd of a take.

Also Tate even in his first two years on a roster with little two no talent had like 38% of his makes being self created compared to someone like Green who is at 60+%.

No . Green obviously can handle guard duties too .

The point is that you're getting creation from almost everywhere in that lineup.

And honestly, in a few years Tari may indeed be a better creator than green . Height is really important .

In the playoffs you'd almost always rather have a 6`8" creator than a 6'5" one

Edit . And as for your logic , hey , even a broken clock is right twice a day

The one who is the better self creator. If height was the only factor then Bam should be a better self creator than Ja.

There is no avenue for Smith to be a better self creator. Self creators have bend, fluidity etc and aren't stiff. Jabari is stiff.

Green always has been a self creator. Jabari never was considered that. In what way can Jabari be a better self creator? Height isn't a good answer. You need something more.

Height makes up for a bit

I said almost everyone and listed Jabari as a shooter. Right now I have no expectations of him creating much at this point. He should be focusing on finishing and defense .

Tari has a handle and shiftyness and length . He needs to show much morning terms of vision, decision making, etc ...

    But the tools are there.

Tari this season has a 51% ts with 37% of his makes being self created. Green his rookie year had 50% of his makes self created on 55% ts.

If Tari has handles than Jalen Green has Kyrie level handles.

Since you have the srats could you compare only the first half of rookie years?

Yeah I was just talking within our team. I'm a fan of Conley and I'd prefer him over someone like Harden if we don't land #2 or find ourselves in a unique situation where a top pg becomes available worth exploring. I'm not expecting a big trade deadline for us. Maybe a Pat Bev type move. Guys like Conley, Lowry, Beverley, Caruso, would be great for our young core if they are willing to be the vet leader we need

Ya 52% ts on 48% unassisted makes.

    Higher volume also.
Expanding Tari to Green's role even Green's role in his first half of his rookie year is asking for a massive efficiency drop. Tari just doesn't have the coordination and handles of Green to have any where near the ceiling of Green as a self creator.

What Tari definitely can be better than Green at is defense and fast break play.

And you shouldn't expect the same type of second half jump for Tari. Green's second half jump doesn't happen often at least at that drastic of a level. The fact that he got his ts% up to 55% in the same season is crazy. You think Tari is going to be at 60% ts while averaging 20 ppg on like 55% unassisted rate for his second half of his season? That would be a historic swing in trajectory mid season for a player.

Ok now compare that to the role they've been given when first on the team . Compare the minutes played , who they played with etc.

The point it's that it's not possible to know at this point . Just like green is still undefined so is Eason.

What point are you trying to make ? Eason shouldn't be developed as a creator... because green already is one ?

Green showed that he can play a little off ball too .

I would like our shooting guard to learn how to play off ball and learn how to shoot.

I want our front court guys learning how to handle and distribute because when teams are throwing the kitchen sink at you ... having more size is a good thing .

I'm glad green was slightly ahead of Eason as a creator ... because green isn't bringing the defense . And he's not shooting the 3 as well as Eason either .

Green is good at going to the line a lot right now . We all know how that can dry up

The ridiculousness of CFs analysis when they're winning > the ridiculousness of CFs analysis when they're losing ..... but it's getting close

Dude you are lost of you want to develop Tari into a self creator over Green. Mere eye test also shows they are world's apart.

And how is Green going to the line something that will dry up? Is he baiting where refs will stop calling it? He's getting to the line a lot because he beats perimeter defenses often.

Ya you want your young potential star guard being able to beat perimeter defenses off the dribble.

They still got their minutes, TyTy, Gary Bird, and Smith got minutes cut.

The atrocity is EG got 30 minutes

I think we all know what needs to happen: a trade to remove the logjam at the 3. Tate and Tari aren’t going anywhere, so I don’t see where EG and KJ fit in.
