Whether or not he Schlapped that ass, I hope "Herschel Walker's staffer's crotch" is a phrase I never have to read again.

I wanted the Democrats to withhold their votes for Pelosi in 2020 (which, as is painfully obvious now, would NOT have resulted in a Republican as SOTH... despite so much crying to the contrary) until she promised a floor vote on Medicare for all.

This is a very similar circumstance, only the holdouts want... I don't actually know? Trump installed as President? Whatever it is, they're probably going to get it.

Republicans have effectively lost their minds over the last 10 years, but they do inherently understand leverage and power better than Democrats imo.

Edit sadly this prediction came to pass: Georgia senate runoff Jan. 5, vote vote vote

I don’t believe so. I believe the rules concessions are for this session of Congress Jan 2023 to Dec 2024.

This is objectively false. Most advancement in history are incremental improvements by innumerable people doing their jobs and getting no credit.

There are a lot of names lost to history so I will agree there but we still remember names like Imhotep, Archimedes, James Watt and etc..

"The entire growth of society, whether economic or moral, comes from a small number of people. So we close this chapter with a remark about the role of skin in the game in the condition of society. Society doesn’t evolve by consensus, voting, majority, committees, verbose meeting, academic conferences, and polling; only a few people suffice to disproportionately move the needle. All one needs is an asymmetric rule somewhere. And asymmetry is present in about everything." - Taleb

This is good for the American people. Why continues with the bullshiet governance where bills are being passed without debates and transparency. Why continues the way Nancy Pelosi ran the Congress with her iron fists CCP style? Let the soap continues until we have a speaker that actually follows the will of the American people.

Nonsense assertion that a small number of people drive society or the fact that 3.4 million patent applications were filed in 2021 alone. Which is more realistic view of the driving force of progress.

The American people elect Congress, correct? The GOP has the House majority. 90% of the House GOP want MCarthy. Boebert won her election in a red district by less than .2% ,not 2%, .2%. Do you really think these 20 people speak for the majority of Americans? If you do, you are stupid or can't count.

There were singular geniuses that are remembered but we don’t know their motivation. My guess would be they were driven more by curiosity than ego or greed. But these people are rare and still builds upon the work of others. Newton famously said he stood on the shoulders of giants.

Good thing this is a democracy. Last I checked it isn't just 20 folks who doesn't want Mccarthy. It's 222 representative. That's more than 50% of the US that doesn't want Mccarthy.

Getting upset that said poster can't count or is stupid somehow forgets about 212 other representatives.
