When are we going to start criticizing Rafael Stone?

Eh... Silas' passiveness can also cause locker room chaos. For example of teammates see that Silas isn't holding KPJ or Green accountable then that can cause locker room division.

I can imagine right now that Sengun being rightfully angry with how the org is treating him relative to KPJ, Jalen and Jabari.

 

This is why so many of you are pissed. Expectations are way too high and these players aren’t as good as you think. Jalen is not a superstar, he’s not even a star if I’m being honest. We don’t have any star level players on this team, just guys with that upside. I don’t think Sengun is a star, but he’s closer to that than Jalen is to being a superstar. When you use that word, think about the company he’d be in. Luka, Giannis, Jokic, Ja, just to name a few are superstars. Jalen is not even close to them lol

 

You are making assumptions - comments from the players say he holds them accountable … it’s the reason the players can verbalize their mistakes … correcting them in-game takes time.

Lol the organization is treating Sengun just fine… y’all have these dreams of how you want him used and sorry it’s not going to happen until he develops a jumpshot first - to help with spacing and becomes a better defender which applies Jalen and KPJ also

 

The way I see it, it's a kindergarten not an NBA locker room yet.

You take baby steps towards sorting the smart and diligent guys from the also rans and dumber ones.

Jalen can't pronounce properly and Jabari is acting out as some sort of punk leader while he is not even a good player yet.

KPJ shouldn't give interviews no more.

But last game Sengun had his defender pinned down in the restricted area multiple times and they just ignored him. That is unacceptable. As soon as Sengun has position in the restricted area you throw it to him immediately. That is where Sengun should be rightfully pissed off.

Sengun with his defender pinned down in the restricted area is a high percentage efficient shot. Our guards simply can't ignore when that happens. That is bad.

 

Jalen can't speak properly? Huh?

 

As a motivational speaker you need a speaker with clear voice, clear
intonations etc clear speech.

If they ever intend to groom him into a leader.

It wasn't my intention to speak ill but those small things matter when you go through growing pains.
Every disadvantage will be magnified.

It is not official yet but it's a matter of time when complete chaos breaks out.

 

This off season is his first real opportunity to make moves and actually structure this roster to compete. If he comes out of this offseason with the roster still having no clarity and Silas is still here and the product on the floor is just as bad, then we should all let him have it.

They did not ignore Sengun they went to him a lot … they could goto Sengun 80% of the time he post up and y’all would still complain.

Sengun still has trouble sealing his man, meaning yes he temporarily looks open, but his man is not sealed.. which then 8x out of 10 ends in a turnover.

He also needs to learn to reposition and repost that will come with age and strength

I’m all for using him in post and mid post but he has to get a FT line jumper for the mid post to really be effective

 

Is anyone expecting 20-21 year old Jalen to be close to them lol?

Just to show the crazy variance of how people view Jalen especially the difference between Clutchfans posters and non Rocket fans like the Jazz commentators:

The female commentator for the Jazz last night said "Jalen Green has more upside than Ja Morant" And the other two Jazz play by play guys said they agree with her. Her reasoning is that Green is a taller version of Ja.

Now imagine saying that "Jalen has a higher upside than Ja" on Clutch fans. I'm a big Green Stan and I don't even believe that primarily because of the playmaking and ball skill advantage that Ja has.

 

There's something u seem to suffer from and it's premature knee jerkculation. Giannis and jokic didn't come into the league looking like superstars. Ja isn't considered one either yet until recently. Luka is really the only one lookin like one from the getgo.

It can take years to get there and here u go already labeling folks like its a foregone conclusion that they aren't superstar material.

nowhere in his post did it say its a forgone conclusion. he's literally addressing what the players are today

and his entire post is pretty accurate for everything he addressed at this point in time

 

But that's the confusing part. Who is that poster addressing then because I can't recall anyone here saying that these players are CURRENTLY stars.
