I'm confident the basketball gods are not going to allow the Rockets to get the first pick of the draft.

    Nor do they deserve it.

There was a time the fanbase couldn’t believe we got KPJ for free.

    I don't know why a lot did.

When Cleveland who were still trash at that point, offered him up essentially for free, and not one team apart from the Rockets wanted him.... At the time, and still to this day speaks volumes.

I definitely wasn't. I wanted to stay as far away as possible from KPJ bc I really thought he'd be like Javaris Crittenton.

Almost everyone else in the league still thinks KPJ is as combustible as ever. Yet we're the franchise that is coddling him like none other.

It may look like that but even Hollins commented about it, that is just ball.

Green was in the far right corner. No way could he stop the fast break. The only guy that had a chance is the head honcho if only he could cut the show boating crap (in a blowout no less) and run back immediately after hoisting the shot. I see what I see. I could care less about what Hollins thinks.

Yeah but the rule is when the PG shoots the SG immediately busts it back, and vice versa. It ain’t happening.

Lol it's very contextual dependent my dude. You shouldn't expect the guard who's starting position is the corner to chase down the opposing guard who was guarding a 3 pt shot at the top of the 3 pt line. I know Green is super fast but he ain't Usain Bolt lol.

    Be reasonable.

If he was driving inside for a layup or something, yeah somebody else should cover him. But in this case he was shooting a 3 pointer and was the closest player to his own basket. AND the guy guarding him leaked out. It was his responsibility! Stop spewing nonsense.

Here’s a thought I had while musing about Porter. I think Porter is filled with self doubt. He talks like someone bucking himself up because he doesn’t believe in his own abilities. During life, I’ve seen people like that, the ones who are always tooting their own horn, better at “selling” themselves than at doing the job. Often given positions of responsibility over more solid, able people because they are better at pushing themselves forward. Yet inside, there is that doubt. Sooner or later, they are exposed.

You know what's a rule, when a player shoots the ball, he doesn't stand still for 5 seconds holding his shooting arm on a miss while his man run down the floor.

I think his mental issues are relatively known, most likely anxiety as well.

All true too - not saying it wasn't KPJ's fault but this is a team breakdown, and it happens all game long to everyone on the team.
