Bro he had 23 points. Are you stupid or something? That means he had a great game. - The 6 KPJ supporters
Every time I think I’ve run out of ways to be depressed with our squad, they find a new way to sadden me. That’s all I am now. A sad, sad Rockets fan. Look at me, Rockets. And see the pain you’ve wrought anyway I’ll see y’all next game
dribble dribble dribble dribble pass shot clock violation strip clubs playoff exit I know what we need to do We’re just not good enough gets fatter and becomes journeyman
KPJ - 1 year in college … Great Value Harden on offensive and D - Tunnel Vision Green - 0 years in college - Knockoff D Booker - Tunnelvison - Defensive ADD EG - undersized disgruntled aged SG playing SF and floating 10ft between 3pt line Jabari - 1 year in college - Broken Sharpshooter with great D Sengun - 0 years college - Post move assassin, no jumper, skillful passer..defensive liability We just not skilled enough .. I’m not even starting with bench Youth is frustrating
I was a fan of his last season & saw real growth & improvement post All star break, but this season unfortunately it looks like he's taken 2 steps back & his defense is absolutely atrocious... missed reads, overplaying perimeter players, losing his man on cuts, & late closeouts. Although his TS% is up due to the amount of FT's he's getting but his shooting has been awful, and his shot IQ is the same level as KPJ which is not good. Maybe he needs an actual PG on the floor to guide his game, but he def needs to cut back on the terrible ISO covered 3's he's fallen in love with.
I think it just can't work with young players. They are all out to prove something, not win games, but to put up their numbers and prove they are the franchise player. They all think that. Especially when you read their quotes. Jabari, Green, KPJ, Sengun, all think they are future franchise players. When they actually do pass...the offense works, they get great shots, they put up numbers...but they can't put their youthful selfishness behind. We needed a vet coach for this team. Hopefully that will be our couch next year, not sure who that will be but hopefully someone that has years of coaching experience and isn't afraid to punish players for trying to get their numbers. I think they will be fine, they are all super young, super super young, but it's time they start developing winning habits.
