He's a good all-around role player on a team-friendly contract. Only 26 and will likely go great with our next top pick this year.

Not every player needs to be 18-21 years old next year lol. We'll start signing veterans as well.

 

He needs to hire BJ Armstrong as his agent. He'll know his rights.

The fact that Tate looked so good tonight shows how badly we suck

 

Tate brought good energy tonight. I thought he sparked the team temporarily. I guess I can buy into X Factor for this team. Why not. We have our leader and our X factor now. Good times ahead.

He’s an underrated player. I’m excited to see if his shooting has improved.

 

It's more just having another older vet player who is competent besides EG on the team. That actually is a big deal.for a roster full of 19-22 year olds.

 

Tate just started his 3rd year in the league…he’s no vet, and he hardly knows anything about this league

he’s just a player that’s older than most in the rotation

 

Pro experience is pro experience. He definitely has his fundamentals down relative to the younger players and the strength difference is very obvious. I mean one of the biggest differences between Tate and the young guys that is most obvious is how much easier it is for Tate to get to his spot because of how strong he is compared to the young guys.

 

KPJ has played more games in the NBA than Tate

if u want to view Tate as some vet, then go ahead

 

You'll be surprised how important it is to have a fully developed brain which happens around 25. He has more overall pro experience, his brain is fully developed and his body is fully developed.

He is the best vet presence we have on the team. It shows the lack of vet presence we have but ya he's still the best vet on this team.

 

yup. he knows just as much as any other young player about winning in this league and that's next to nothing. nobody is looking at him as a vet nor is he considered one anyone should be following. All he did was find his way into the league on a team desperate team looking for some kind of talent. Kudos to him personally but yeah he's nothing more than a 27 year old who hasn't been in the actual league long enough to be some kind of established mentor. He certainly hasn't done anything close enough either. All he's seen is the rockets being one of the worst teams in the league while hes been here. That's all the experience he has
