It is the same thing. It is line up stat. It shows what you produced, now why it happened. It won't answer the questions you asked. It could be yes or no, but you can't answer it by using this number. With offense measuring individual contribution can be done reasonably by tracking stats, because there are a lot of direct indicators, like scoring, turnovers, assists etc. The indirect contributions cannot be measured well. In defense it is much harder to separate individual defense from team defense, because if your team defense or teammate's defense is bad, you will face much harder situations. Also hard to measure if you are preventing something to happen before it happens. Eye test combined by following situational metrics is the best way to look at it in my opinion.
He is playing with the shittiest guard defenders in the league. And Jabari, "defensive specialist" isn't doing better.
keep dreaming hypocrite, if hakeem94 could b around sprouting nonsensical rants 24/7, im pretty sure most SoFs will b fine.
The game was another reminder what will be routine next year. The projection: JGreen: 28-30 ppg Sengun : 22/12/6 Jabari : 15 rpg. Lack of concentration at the final 90 seconds of 3rd quarter, missing Sengun assists and Jabari's only 5 rebounds were the reason why Rockets lost. If Alpi assisted 3 more and Jabari grabbed another 10 rebs, the result would be 124-121 instead of 114-131. Hope the new coach forces Sengun to assist more and train Jabari to be better rebounder instead of whining to assistant coaches. We had already too much head honchos, no need Jabari to be another one.
@AlperenSengun Brother, what did I tell you? You cant leave him open at 3 point line, it doesn't even mater if he cant or wont shoot it. The Science of Dumbalytics needs a serious rework and I am counting on you to do some of this work and make it at least somewhat respectable again, because it can be fun and useful eventho it can be dangerously misleading.
Sengun only a -1 in a blow out game, once again demonstrating how inept the team is without its best player on the court. The good news is that it looks like the 3 center experiment may finally be over.
Who the F cares Green couldn't get his on that screen (of course, GOF do) It literally lead to a wide open 3 pointer. You know GOF are confused at what an efficient offense is meant to look like, when they complain about the team getting a wide open 3. Clowns.
wut? Jalen had a baseline that Kelly closed at the expense of leaving the roller, Alpi. That;s how PnR works. Good screen and roll by Alpi, good read by Jalen. Don’t know what’s here to complain. I mean, there is so much else to complain about this team, why would someone choose to complain about a rare well-executed play?
