The Rockets coddle kpj so much that he think he's the head honcho.

Speaks volume that we are almost dead last with this guy "leading" the way.

Kinda ironic that folks btch about harden diva way, silas is raising up a bigger emotionally unstable diva at this point.

If I was gonna nominate a leader it would probably b sengun bbiq wise, or Smith (but he's a rookie).

He could just b taking responsibility for that poor performance but proclaiming yourself to b a leader of a 10-28 squad ain't something to b worth sharing about.

Do you think they only had 3 players on the court?

What about the other 2 guys who did not get back?

I am not saying KPJ needs to do better, but there are 2 other guys who also did not get back, and you can find guys who don't get back in every game that's played multiple guys.

Kevin is the leader, just as I told you all after the Spurs game, he is attempting to lead but I think he needs to lead a bit more by example, he has a few bad moments each game should focus on those first.

I didn’t think KPJ was that bad. He was willingly passing at the start of the game

It was Tyty and mostly Garuba turning the ball over off the bench that took us from a 22-28 comeback to a blowout

As much as I hate this dude, it's the perfect recipe to tank for Wemby/The Real Scoot (Henderson).

Watch again. and take your fking kpj glasses off.
2 guys were in front of KPJ. mathews and fernado.
    KPJ made an awful turnover.
2 guys made it back. Eric and smith.

Fernado made an attempt to get back to the basket while kpj was no where to b seen in that clip until the play was over
Mathews was the furthest one away.

Im just sayin in that instance, the clip. The one who made the stupid turnover and didn't even made an effort to go back on D is the most egregious one which is kpj.

I'm only replying to this stupid statement u made.
Not a good look, but let's stop acting like KPJ was the egregious one.

He made the turnover, he didn't go back on defense = egregious one.

KPJ stans are so defensive, that clip was literally all kpj's fault, arguing otherwise is just pointless.

What does this have to do with Mathews and Fernando not running back like KPJ?

And this is not about excusing KPJ, it's about everybody just piling on KPJ like you why can't you take off your KPJ hater glasses?

You KPJ haters are so caught up in trashing him at every turn, you make mountains out of moehills.

Its amazing that you have such vitriol for any player that just because i don't agree with you I am a KPJ stan?

Fernado did run back.... he was further away from kpj but u can clearly see him trying to run back.

Jeezus christ, it's not making mountains out of molehill. It was a simple clip of kpj making a sht turnover and not making it back to help.

The center who is fking slower made it back faster when further away.

and then we have a kpj stan defendin this type of sht saying he's not the most egregious one

If u can't even acknowledge that kpj is at most fault for that clip, why even bother talking? your head is already gone far up kpj's ass to even make a reasonable comment.

Yeah. So much whataboutism from KPJ stans. Any time when you mention his turnovers, “but Green turns it over just as much if not more!”. Any time he’s lazy on defense, “but what about the other two guys. They didn’t run back either!”. The list goes on and on.

I don't know what we people want, its like they have chosen to hate KPJ regardless. What reactions would these haters be having if he would have said the opposite. "I'm not the leader, I'm not the head honcho so its not my fault and not my problem" They would be just as outraged. I prefer him having the confidence and intention of being the leader of this team than him not caring and not taking responsibility.

I think that’s a good start on his part. But being a leader is a lot more than just being vocal. He needs to first show that he really cares, on the court, on both ends.

I agree but we can't forget KPJ is also not much older than his teammates. After everything that happened in Cleveland and all his personal problems to end up here and inserted in a new position with tremendous responsibility I can't be mad that he isn't an offensive and defensive juggernaut. This team is in year 2 of the rebuild with an extremely young cast of inexperienced players including KPJ. People need to stop living in a fairy tale, rebuild teams are inconsistent. No, they won't compete every night at the highest level and just lose by a couple points to move the odds up in order to draft #1. No, we won't see massive improvement from year 1 to year 2 from our essentially rookie point guard. People want it all, close games, #1 pick, massive improvements from every player, super star point guard play from a player still learning the position. KPJ is fine for The Rockets needs at the moment.

No sane person expects him to be a juggernaut on both ends. But at least show some effort. Stop being lazy. We don’t need him to conserve energy on defensive end only to provide average numbers on the other end. That’s the least we can ask for if he truly believes he’s the leader of the team.
