We need to fire Silas and maybe Hollins and trade Gordon and Tate now. Silas has lost the locker room and Tate and Gordon needs to leave. Christopher needs to play more, Sengun needs to play more and Martin needs to start. Coach Lucas need to coach. What do you think?

no reason to fire silas at all, i'd dump gordon for nothing at this point, even a buyout.

If the goal is drafting Wemby or Scoot, then Silas must last the season.

    Trade Gordon.

Fire Silas - neutral, doesn't matter either way.

Using assets to try and improve - are you stupid?

We saw a change of play once dimwit Silas was ejected. They played different under Lucas. We need a change there first and then get rid of EG.

There’s no salvaging this dumpster fire of a season.
SIL@SS must be let go at seasons end.
We’re to deep in the Tank to right this ship.

Trading Gordon is years old. if you're just realizing that now you're just that far behind. Another stupid decision to keep Gordon to this point. No you're not getting some young stud for him

    Firing Silas makes no difference.

giving up assets that do nothing. Great idea Tilman!

Losing is one thing. These youngsters' stunted learning curve is another.

I do agree that Josh Christopher needs to play more -- for the Vipers. He's shown almost nothing this year (starting in training camp) to show he deserves NBA minutes.

Honestly at this point just let Silas finish the season and try to get the worst record in the league one last time. That guarantees the Rockets a top 5 pick in the draft, and a 40% chance at a top 3 pick, which means Wemby, Henderson or Amen Thompson…. Right now there are 5-6 guys in this draft that look really promising.

With the flattening of the lottery, the Rockets really need to try to use their cap space to get more middle lottery picks, because they can move up with flattened odds.

Yup, a strategic decision needs to be made. Keep Silas and try to get the worst record and a guaranteed top 5 pick but accept over the next 3-4 months there will be piss poor development OR fire Silas and possibly disrupt your lottery position.

Josh showed enough flashes rookie season to no doubt get some burn this yr, which all 7 first round picks should be playing quality minutes so you can see who is who and what to keep or trade if need be

Which would also build up a young players value just in case a disgruntled star caliber player suddenly becomes avail

Ty and Josh should be the backup to the starters from here on out and if they hit a slump go to Nix n Matthews

I think we have 44 games left. I know that a top end coach could help our youngsters for the remainder of the season but I think you have to roll the dice one last time and go for the pick.

How f'd up would it be if we end up with the worst record and some team jumps us like Memphis a few years ago. And we end up with the 12th pick. That is my nightmare scenario. Other than that, I can survive another 44 games as a fan.

There's no improvement until we get better players. Either through developing the players we have or acquiring them in trade or free agency. Just changing the coach and keeping the same players will not change the result much.

Its not possible for the worst team to drop to 12th.

    Lowest possible is fifth.

I hope people realize that having the worst record in the league is FAR safer than say the 5th worst. Relatively odds to get a top 3 pick is fairly close, HOWEVER, you have the risk of falling very very far down the draft.
