This whole notion that REP are better at the blame game was true under Obama when dems were freckless and timid. Biden and the new DNC have been good at attacking Republicans and successfully lifted the MAGA Republicans during the last primary and won huge against them. Quit underestimating the dems when they've proven to win. The midterms had a +2 GOP environment yet tons of Republicans crossed over to vote for dems only because of their messaging. People on this board give the gop too much credit. Every global news network is laughing at what happening.

Rep Ken Buck has told Kevin McCarthy that a speaker needs to be elected today, even if that means McCarthy needs to step aside. Buck mentioned Scalise as next in line. The thing for a guy like Scalise or Stefanik even is that you want McCarthy to get knifed down but you can't be the one holding the knife. You have to wait until he's dead. Churchill famously did this to Chamberlain.

the dems should demand a run-off b/t the top two vote getters. five votes and its been lil' kevin and jeffries on every ballot. lets just have one final vote b/t them two. poor kevin. his goal for a decade has been speaker of the house and he is now twice denied. his political career is toast. he is getting what he deserves though. sold out to the insurrectionists after january 6th, gave them what they wanted and they still pulled the rug out from under him. all those weasels deserve each other.
