I imagine the new owner of the Suns and the transition of ownership will prevent any major trades until everything is finalized. Anybody have any insider thoughts on this?
I have direct insider information on exactly what the Suns new owner is thinking in regards to trading for a short, old, low-effort player who doesn't solve any of their needs.
The Suns don't look like the parts this season other than flashes of past brilliance. They need a talent influx but in the 25-30 year old range.
Heard their working with another team to get the second first round pick the Rockets are demanding for EG.
Thread title seems a bit misleading ..... makes a statement, rather than asking the question. Just my opinion. On the topic, the last time the Suns did not use their own #1 draft pick was in 2010. every year since, they have made a selection with their pick. It's likely current ownership / front office philosophy is what's stopping them from making deals with that particular asset.
