Truly shocking that one of the leading critics of the DoJ/Intel Community is smeared anonymously in the press as a sex trafficker. Almost like there is a playbook for this sort of thing.
Quite frankly the way he criticizes the DoJ and intellegence community seems self serving and to only protect his tribe of people. He never has advocated for criminal justice reform for the people are victimized the most from it.
The Republicans have no one to blame for this but themselves. After years of running on grievance and anger instead of governance they’ve elected a caucus that is mostly about grievance and anger and can’t govern. I’m sure they will blame the deep state, DOJ, liberal media, Democrats, wokeness or some other frequent target but none of that changes this is on the Republican caucus it self.
