So in the last few games (all losses) he got completely outcoached by Pop x2, Spoelstra, and Mosley. He doesn't know how to beat a simple zone defense.
Sorry for the late reply. You are 80% right in my opinion. I must give 20% credit to Silas since management has been keeping him for this long now. And during that time and including the upcoming 2023 draft Rockets got many very good players. The Rockets play the most minutes in the entire NBA with players under 23. This should be a very hard task. Including the 20% I would say that Jalen, Kenyon Martin, Jabari and Alpi are developing in terms of playing versatile roles and developing their skills. Tari and Nix also play with confidence. Actually as crazy at it might sound KPJ (since he is given the greenest light in the team) is really sharpening as a scorer. However, this is exactly the part where we have to focus on your 80%. KPJ has to be put on a leash with his "mostly" detrimental overdribbling. He is mad skilled and unfortunately is in love with his dribbling where most of the times it looks like a streetball or Harlem Globetrotters game. Whereas with one dribbling move he could create his shot easily. So I think the main problem with Silas is that he has not created solid sets from which the team can flourish. KPJ is utilized in a wrong fashion. And plays are made sporadically most of the time. I really don't know what to say. There is so much to say but I am only a fan. It is annoying and that's part of it I guess. I wish we had a Nick Nurse or a Stan van Gundy. I guess a good coach is very hard to come by..
We need Jeff Van Gundy to hold Green and Porter accountable on extreme poor decision making and turnovers.
I'm so sick of this guy. The fact that he treated our young guys like they are some veteran team on a b2b. This man is a complete idiot.
