As much as I'm curious as to which QB the Texans might draft. I'm also curious if they will bring in a better option than Mills for the rookie to learn from? I was on the Mills hype train to start the season but I'm now to the point of draft a QB for the future, bring in a solid veteran QB for a year and move Mills to the 3 spot.

Just got that "IT FACTOR", can't explain it. You look at Bryce and you see the All American; bright, sharp, all of the qualities to be a great QB, except the size!

He has things you can't teach

I like Young and Stroud because they're the Top two QBs in this draft.....NO ONE ELSE IS CLOSE. I still dont know why you're propping up Levis.

But come to think of it, you hype up Ewers and Mayes alot too!

Lmao. Says the most bigoted dude on this forum, you have literally said you only want black QBs. You’re a racist piece of ****.

Also, you fvcking illiterate idiots obviously can’t read. No one is saying draft Levis first, also, scouts disagree with you. Levis is a top prospect in their eyes and higher than Stroud.

I'm going to go out on a limb, and say it:

When the draft rolls around, the QBs will fall in this order:

    1a. Bryce Young
    1b. Will Levis
    3. CJ Stroud

Levis is going to wow some people at the combine. The question is whether it will be enough to overtake Young or not.

I really like all three guys, but Stroud scares me the most, and my sneaky suspicion is that he'll be third on the Texans radar. I think they all three could have pretty good careers.

I am excited to see how this plays out. I think it'll be Texans, Seahawks and Colts, with Stroud likely going to the Colts. Not sure where the other two will fall.

    Agreed with everything here.
I still would like to address defense, but if we’re going to draft a QB at 1.1. Draft Bryce and receivers/TE. At least be fun on offense

If you're going to call someone a liar, it is usually best to do so when you can't easily be proven wrong.

Now, I'm sure you're going to try to argue that "the guy" doesn't equal "the real deal", but my point stands.

There is no need to gaslight.

Also, you could've just taken my point, which was: you don't know the future and should be cautious about acting like you do when discussing the potential of these QBs. But instead you tried to impugn my character. There is no need to be so abrasive.

Edit: apologies to all for my 2 dud posts above cluttering the board. Had some technical issues for a minute.

Wow, so you sound super hypocritical here. You have no idea what the future holds either, track record and history are indicators of future success.
Mills showed progress at end of last season, to be the guy for this season. He failed so now you move on. No where does that say he is the real deal or the future of the franchise-he deserved the chance to prove one way or the other.
In no way does your “point” matter for me to have taken it, it was a lie, at minimum a stretch to fit your narrative. So you can keep your pompous preaching to yourself.

    Lol,

“I never said he was the real deal, you’re lying.”

Then I produce proof of you saying the equivalent. So, if anything, YOU lied.

“It was a lie.” Um, no, it wasn’t and I just proved it.

How does that make me hypocritical? Do you know what that word means? When do I comment like I know the future of all of these QBs and that Stroud has “zero upside”?

I have no idea why you decided to get so huffy over my initial comment, a comment that was liked by a few people who obviously didn’t find my point so irrelevant.

Just keep gaslighting though. That’s the way out when you get caught BS-ing and insulting the character of someone you’ve never met.

Also, for the record, I think you’re a good poster and a knowledgeable evaluator of talent. I enjoy what you bring to this forum.

My initial post wasn’t meant to break your balls, but rather to encourage you to pump the breaks on speaking in absolutes and declaratives about the futures of prospects. That was all. I shouldn’t have mentioned Mills, obviously, because that’s what you took offense to.

But then you called me a liar and I had to defend myself.

Putting that behind me now though, I am not trying to beef with you and I don’t have any animosity or ill will towards you. As I said, I enjoy your takes more often than not.

    Happy New Year

My apologies, you’re right, I’m being defensive. Sometimes it feels like the only avenue for conversation on these boards is hostility.
