You will know how tall Young is at the combine. Sabin wears lifts in his shoes, btw.

Would Bryce Young be an outlier if he's successful in the NFL? Sure. It's true, we haven't really seen many people of his size even try or be given a legit shot at the NFL level so if he becomes a franchise QB it would be something new.

But do you know who else would be an outlier? Will Levis. Seriously. There have been a ton of QB's drafted primarily because they have the tools and measurables that flopped in the NFL. And the vast majority of those produced at a high level in college.

Josh Allen, the guy who people wish Levis to be, is an outlier himself because he's that rare QB who had the tools but was a mediocre QB in college and only became a good QB in the NFL. I don't think you can look at Allen and expect Levis to follow the same path.

It makes no sense to me how someone could decry Young as needing to be an outlier while pushing another QB who would also need to be an outlier.

There is no QB without question marks in this draft. It's more of a matter of what you value more, skills and production or physical attributes.

Every quarterback can be made an outlier, in general.

Depends on who's evaluating, and what they want to knock on the QB.

Stroud would be an outlier, as a successful Ohio State QB.

No, I haven’t fallen in love with any QB. I never once said to draft him with the first pick.
You dudes are something else, I’m sorry I’d rather go defense with our first pick, it’s ok to not want Young at 1.

Literally nowhere have I said to draft him that high. You are illiterate and arguing with yourself.

Stroud isn’t a top 2 pick for damn sure either

That last part is absolutely true. And anyone objectively speaking would realize that.
I’ve said it since the beginning of the season.

You don't win without a QB in this League. Jets were 7-4 at one point this season. Then the QB issues arose. Now they are 7-9 and have missed the playoffs. They will be looking for a QB after drafting Zach Wilson in 2021 at #2. Wilson, like Levis, had Prototypical size and arm strength and better college stats than Will Levis. However, great season was against weak competition. Projections vs Production against great competition. It burned the Jets. Take the proven winner against NFL-type competition.

Wonder why the love for Levis run so deep? He hasn't shown any reason why he should be a top pick. It's got to be something other than what we're seeing on the field.

Stop it dipshit. No one is making Levis the top prospect in here, but there are draft pundits and scouts who are saying it.

And we all know why you like Young and Stroud

Stroud wouldn’t be that bad if you want to bet against young’s size but the talent disparity is clear between the two
