Bears would need to win also if Texans win

I’ve never said he was a great prospect. He’s an intriguing one, he’s the closest to a true prototype out of the top 3 consensus.
Athletic, will be a top 5 arm immediately, and good size. Scouts have said he’s a great leader and good on the whiteboard. He’s had good games against Georgia, LSU and others.
He’s also had bad games with questionable decision making, and he has limited reps at QB for his age.
The only QB I’m truly down on is Stroud.

I’ll be ecstatic if we draft Young, but he has a high likelihood of busting strictly due to his size

    Stroud got y’all fooled.
Levis has the highest upside by far of those three. Most athletic, biggest and biggest arm-by a lot.
Young has best chance to be a consistently good QB.
Stroud is not mobile, one game where he gets wide open lanes where he barely outruns DT is not mobile. If that’s the case, y’all need to admit Mills is “mobile” too

Mills is athletically capable of mobility, but he’s not naturally elusive and doesn’t have enough pocket presence and accuracy while running to translate his athletic capability to a positive attribute. He’s technically faster than Mahomes, but Mahomes is far more comfortable running and can do more with the ball both mentally and physically while he’s scrambling. Even the bits of mobility that Stroud showed last night were better than Mills because he was able to tuck the ball while running, throw accurately on the move, and not turn the ball over.

I agree with all of this, but one game with wide open lanes doesn’t make Stroud different. He’s shown over and over again that he’s like Mills. Straight line is solid, can move if pressured but one cut and isn’t elusive in the open field or really short areas.
Stroud is a build up speed player similar to Mills but slower. Either way, im not interested in Stroud. He’s shown he folds under pressure and one game isn’t going to change that opinion. Mills has shown that characteristic, not interested in investing a 1st overall on that type of talent/player

You need to look at those games in 2021 against LSU and Georgia (the 2022 Georgia was NOT good for him). He threw for less than 200 yards in those games. The only reason they are considered good games is he had 5 TDs total and no INTs. Sure, Prototype size and arm strength. However, those mean NOTHING if you can't process the field/game as a QB. He hasn't any games like Young or Stroud, with great numbers, against top 10 competition.

Having the "biggest arm" mean nothing, if you throw it to the other team or miss receivers in pressure situations.

The Levis hype is ridiculous. He had 19TD's to 10 INT.
9 of those 19 were thrown against Miami OHIO, Youngstown State, and Northern ILLNOIS.

    Young vs Tenessee- 35-52 455 yards 2 TD's 0 INT's
    Levis vs Tenessee- 16-27 98 yards 0 TD's 3 INT's

    Stroud vs Georgia 23/34 348 yards 4 TD's 0 INT's
    Levis(at home) vs Georgia 20/31 206 yards 1 TD 1 INT

I think you are fooled by intangibles over actual QB play.

How tall is Saban? NGL I’m scared to draft him knowing that he would need to become an outlier for success. Huge gamble.

Bullshit, just because you want to discount those games doesn’t mean it’s true.
I’ve watched those games specifically multiple times, the dude carried teams that were massively outgunned in terms of talent.

Not fooled even a little bit, he had some bad games this season. Did pretty good against Georgia last season and LSU.
I think you’re fooled by boxscore instead of actual game play

This team is so terrible that I almost feel bad for guys who think a QB would come in and turn things around. Not even a perfect prospect would flourish with the current state of the team let alone one with NFL size concerns.

I watched Levis against Florida. He routinely stared down receivers, had little pocket awareness, and was constantly high with the ball which will get your receivers/team killed in the NFL. This is the most overrated prospect since Zach Wilson.

This is a project upon projects.

People are overrating him on the premise he "could" be the next Josh Allen. Not that he is actually good now.

You have clearly fallen in love with the project. The Texans probably would have a decent shot at taking him with the Cleveland pick. This is all analyst hype at this point.

Your love for Levis is laughable. Could he be good? Sure. #1 or #2 overall pick? Hell no.
