ClutchFans Game Thread: Knicks @ Rockets 12/31/2022

What irritates me is when Tyty gets in and they don't let him run the offense. They look him off as if he's not the only pg we have on the roster. The team is playing unorganized as if they don't know basic fundamentals, it's infuriating

 

OBVIOUSLY I WATCH THE GAMES BECAUSE IM HERE IN THE GAME CHAT TALKING ABOUT THE GAMES. You are blaming Sengun for people he doesnt guard the majority of the time. Not only are they not his main assignment but he gets less minutes than KPJ. Seems like you just are trying to attack Sengun despite me showing you thats our biggest defensive issues are the guards that are assigned to KPJ. Your earlier statement is incorrect and we are usually worse defensively with Sengun off the floor.

 

You apparently you don't watch the games. Yes our guards have bad moments on defense, but our biggest problem defensively is we possibly have the slowest footed center starting for us

 

Maybe you arent watching the games. You seem clueless. Again we are not getting killed night in and night out by bigs. We are getting destroyed by guards, you cannot possibly blame Sengun for that, yet you keep trying knowing you are wrong. Its ridiculous. You want me to show you clips of KPJ blowing assignments and switching when he shouldnt? Guards shouldnt allow their man to be switched to a center thats not how switching works on our team you arent supposed to allow that to happen. But they do, KPj really is not good defensively at all, he has his moments but overall we lose because of his and Jalens poor defense night in and night out. I love Jalen but its just a fact.

 

Sengun didn’t play this game but our defense still sucks!

 

Alperen Sengun ranks #105 out of 190 in defensive plus minus KPJ ranks #150 Jalen ranks #184. I'll bet that his numbers would even be better if he didnt have defensive liabilities at guard shuffling their assignments to him. I thought you KPJ people loved stats lol

 

jalen and KPJ are being developed poorly...they both have all the tools to become defensive stoppers and a 2 way forces, instead jalen is one of the worst defenders in the league...

I’ll clean this team and this forum up! I’ll start by hiring Jeff Van Gundy and hiring a point, any point, who gets the point. I’ll make @DaDakota secretary of defense to provide ballast and protection against overreach and bad drafts, and make @DaBeard chief of staff to progressively promulgate the efficiencies of the new regime and new team. @Killatron 2000 and his wife will support the administration as co-czars of futureology and we would already know if we get Wemby or not and who our next coach is. @D-rock would be our minister of drafting, and would truly certify if Wemby has a wingspan of twelve feet or not. Tanking would be a thing of the past, happy days are here again. Remember a vote for our administration is a vote for the future of the Rockets. Thank you to all our supporters. Sengun played like 10 minutes against Boston. You think Jaylen Brown scored 39 points in 10 minutes? Gtfo of here. KPJ falls asleep and leaves his man wide open half the game.

He didn't even play last night and quickly had 27. Must be his fault again. His defense is being blown out of proportion cuz the Rockets legit suck at help defense. He seems to be the only one that tries to help.

 

Can't see who is quoted. Already allergic to bs and i spare myself from Idiocracy feels nice to have more quality forum experience. I advise you guys to do the same.
