Stroud has more time to prepare for combine now. Can’t fault him for this loss.

Good game for Stroud and the Texans imo.

I think Stroud upped his stock tonight enough to make it a coin flip with Young.

Means even if the Texans pick 2nd they probably get to pick the guy they always wanted whether that’s Young or Stroud.

I think Young is still the pick for first overall. Young seams to get the ball out quicker.

That may be true, I dunno, but the "Stroud is immobile in the pocket" bullsh!t should stop right about now.

He has speed like Mills, straight line is solid. He has no wiggle whatsoever or ability to escape in short areas.

Just curious, at what point did you stop watching the game tonight?

Both me and the wife enjoyed the game, Stroud looks the part. I still prefer Bryce but it seems closer (it’s funny the wife loves college football and doesn’t like NFL) , I’m watching to get a glimpse of what may come ..

I watched all of it. Nothing changed with my opinion of him, he had a good game. He had some wide open runs, he doesn’t have wiggle or elusiveness.
This was the best game of his career considering the opponent, more often than not he’s folded against elite talent.

My opinion has changed and I’m quite happy about it. He is more mobile than I thought.. for him to move in the pocket with Carter in his face was impressive. Also the narrative of him needed talent is over blown with his top 2 wrs and RB out of the game in the 4th. Kid showed toughness.

CJ has never impressed me as much until yesterday. I thought he showed mobility, heart, vision, everything. If we pick him or not, good for him. I thought he answered a lot of questions on yesterday.

But my biggest question now is, where has all of this been?

Great game from CJ against the best D in college football. He puts the ball into really nice pockets. Love his accuracy. He’s as mobile as Young in a bigger frame. Was in his corner for a hot minute.

All that said I’m out on QB this draft. BPA. Anderson or Carter. Same with the Browns pick. I’m willing to roll the dice on a QB next draft.
