He's 100% right which is why I don't understand the whole tank by any means. Tanking is fine if there is visible improvement which gives you hope that adding another young player will take the team to the next level. Why are people excited about a tank where it looks like the young players are regressing? You add another young player to this core and it's going to be the same results. We have added two top 3 picks the past 2 years and this team has gotten worse, why would adding another lottery pick somehow get you even more excited? Usually adding one top 3 pick takes your team to the next level, but we added TWO and people are still begging for more lottery picks? realistically the NBA shouldn't even allow us to get another one. it's embarrassing how bad this team looks.
I don't care what lies are told to "insiders" to leak to the masses, there's no way anyone is offering a first rounder for EG.
Gordon is right. Silas and KPJ need to go. There will not be any improvement before that. Any more time with Silas and KPJ is wasted time.
....yeah, his 81% TS tonight is what I'd call "stellar efficiency" It was certainly FAR more efficient than anyone else on the team tonight.
I learned from this board that people judge KPJ more harshly because he wasn't drafted by the Rockets and he's not 19 years old. People would view him a lot more differently if he was 20 and was homegrown(which he pretty much is).
If Gordon cared about improvement he would volunteer to come off bench or sit til he gets traded. Then again we play so much better with KMJ starting and he doesn’t just stand 10ft behind 3pt line clapping
Well, we had 3 guards and wings have more turnovers than assists, so if he's talking to them, he was talking to Eric Gordon, Jalen Green, and Tari Eason
Agreed, I think a lot of it is people who don't like him personally due to some of his past off the court nonsense. As a result of that bias, they just can't see things clearly.
Your “PG” leading the team in scoring is a problem, couple that with neither he nor Green play defense. KPJ is treated like the franchise when he isn’t.
