The coaches need to keep Jabari around the free throw line, because he can be unstoppable due to his length and shooting. He can be a poor man’s Kevin Garnett for us, Garnett was always in that area hitting those unstoppable 2 pointers. If he can diversify his offense he can get to that next level on offense we need.

Missed the game but watching the highlights, it looked like the Mavs adjusted and defended him much tighter after the first quarter. Perhaps he was told to shoot more threes to open up the lanes, but I'm guessing it probably had more to do with defensive adjustments by the Mavs.

But anyways, that first quarter was very good.

Yes - looked incredible “getting passes” and shooting from the elbow.

Haven't watched this game yet, but from the highlights he's looking more comfortable attacking the rim. Seems to be developing a euro step.

Was hoping he'd get more shots tonight. Looked like what you'd get if you mashed LMA and Ariza together tonight.

There’s always one of Jabari, Green or Sengun not getting enough shots. There are too many scorers in the starting lineup and as Jabari continues to earn shots it’s going to create more unnecessary pressure.

Unless they learn how to move the ball more as a group (Green, KPJ, Sengun), one of Sengun or KPJ should be benched even if it’s for a lesser player. Those 3 should be averaging more assists, they are all constantly missing open players.

Minutes are important for development but it’s intruding on other guys’ development now.

him getting good looks at the elbow because Mavs went zone brought a tear to my eye.

then we went away from it the rest of the game. i really loathe this "5-out" PnR based offense.

If passing is the issue, benching the best passer in the starting lineup probably isn't a solution.

Brah our off guard (Green) has a better point per possession on pnr primary ball handler duties than our primary ball handler KPJ.

And they have almost near identical assist per minute of possession with the ball ratio.

Passing skill is not the issue.

I loathe it so much too that I want to send the T-1000 after a 13 year old Morey. (not to be taken seriously)

Jabari had the nets on fire last night no excuse.

His mid-range looks deadly, without seeing the numbers (since he has missed so many wide open shots this year). It looks like once he gets stronger to not be impacted by getting bumped then that shot should me $$.

Mid range can go to hell if he gets the ball in the mid range he should be taking it to the rack. Play like Giannis not like Melo.

I mean yea if we ignore all the open shots he's missed then he is a great shooter.

Not when that mid range is looking like KD or prime CP3 shooting it, but also mix in some driving to the rack, be a blend of Giannis n KD

KD is more of a 3 pt shooter than a mid range shooter. It is the reason why he has rings.

Cp3's mid range only works in regular season and then he shoots like **** in the playoffs. Thats why he is one of the biggest chokers among players today.

The only mid range specialists who became champs are MJ and Kobe. Everyone else like Rudy Gay, Melo, De Mar, Cp3 etc all choke and lay an egg. Thats cuz when the game is on the line and you are in the mid range area you should be driving hard to the rack for And1 instead of a soft ass mid rsnge J.

u sound like those lay up and 3s only kinda folk. if u can hit mid ranges consistently y stray from it? we had folks on here btching about harden for phasing out his mid range game and making him more predictable to guard on defense

How come Steph only shoots 3s and nobody asks him to hid mid range?

Reality is mid range is for chumps, last couple of champions were Steph, Giannis, Lebron and KD none of whom are mid range specialists. Mid rangers almost always flop in the playoffs thars why all people do nowadays is shoot 3s and layups.

“How come no one asks the greatest 3pt shooter ever to shoot midrange?”
    :D
