Who's your preference for the next HC?

agreed. the issue here is there is no organization. this staff might be great for veterans but they aren't able to organize these kids. that speaks to everyone on the staff. although a do think Hollins has improved our defense.

the next HC has to be someone with a track record to getting through to players in their early 20's. Snyder did it in Utah, then stayed through their playoff years as they got older. Atkinson did it in BK. JVG does it with team USA. Sampson does it at UH.

I think Vogel and stotts, although not known for player development, can surely organize us into an NBA ball club.

I would be pretty disappointed if we don't end up with one of those 6. I don't want another rookie HC. we need someone who can teach these kids how to play nba basketball and how to win.

Probably, especially if he(Stone) wants the KPJ experiment at PG to work by any means necessary, then he is going to take the same approach with his first hire of a rebuild to work by any means necessary, especially since the young squad seems to play hard for the coach

I hate how we jerk that guy around every time we have a opening only to give it to someone else

We do not need any of those jokers. Please keep those guys away from this team. Our players will be begging to leave in a few years and we will be back to square 1.

We need someone who emphasizes ball movement, free flowing offense, and understands lineup management. That means JVG, SVG, and Vogel are out, as is Atkinson, whose team played better after he was fired. Stotts I don't know; seems to me he lived off of Dame Lillard for the most part. LaMarcus Aldridge left because of that. Will this team be better if the coach (Stotts) is just doing whatever say, Jalen Green wants all the time, no matter how much it hurts the team? Sampson is too old and would likely get slapped by an NBA player with some of his antics/attitude, and he knows it. So he will never coach NBA ball. He needs to stay right where he is in college (obviously I am biased UH Alum so I am also being selfish here).

Udokah is the guy to coach this team, plain and simple. He got Brown and Tatum to buy in last season, Stevens never could do it, and this Mozzulla guy, while he got off to a hot start, seems to have sort of lost it too. Udokah can get the guys to listen, has the success to prove it, and is a former player. He also has the Pop touch, which is the ability to get buy in from stars while not pissing them off. Only Pop, Phil, Doc and Riley have been able to do that in the modern era. Kerr doesn't do that; he strokes egos and pretty much let's the assistants do all the work. A better version of Coach Dantoni.

You act like it's just the Rockets that do it. I love the man as an interview and analyst, but no... not for this generation of kids. He'd break them in the first week. lol.
