It doesn't matter that much to them. It's going to come down to their final game against Ten. There's been talk of Ten. resting some of their starters this week and I'm afraid the Jags could end up doing the same thing. We then get a win against jag backups which doesn't mean anything in the scheme of things other than screwing up our draft position!
Exactly. Or there's the fact that this awful Texans team still found a way to beat the Jags earlier this year, and yes they'll likely rest guys who need it. Either way, I fully expect them to go all out to win... (Texans).
The Texans are going to win this game and a lot of Texans fans are gonna be upset about it I just can't root for any of my teams to lose while I'm watching. I've tried..I can't do it. I can see the silver lining when they lose for sure, though.
It would be very Texan-like for them to actually win this game. Plus, no matter how bad we are, we always seem to beat the Jags.
No and yes. Really glad to be wrong on the 1st part and now it's official! Pederson WON'T rest key starters this week like Vrabel plans on. At least this way if we get a victory it will be a legitimate one! Doug Pederson: Jaguars Won't Rest Players vs. Texans https://www.si.com/nfl/jaguars/news/doug-pederson-jaguars-wont-rest-players-vs-texans As to the 2nd part Lovie's already stated in his presser that you/he always go all-out to win every game. I mean his best interests (which are short-term) don't really align with the best long-term interests of the team anyway because if he loses out he may be fired and won't even be around. Plus he's the coach and there's no way Nick would actually come out and ask/tell him to tank even if Lovie would. Can't take the risk of it leaking later from a disgruntled, fired Lovie!
