Landlords aren't evil. It's just a natural consequence of the system that it's inherently exploitative. Housing is a very inelastic product that allows owners to abuse the nature of the product. I thought I did answer your questions with what my ideal system is. And it's an ideal utopia because it cannot be completed without extreme revolutionary style violence and I don't want that therefore it's only a hypothetical that isn't going to happen.


There are perfectly nice people that are land lords. They tend to also have self awareness. I lived in NYC for work and rented a second story floor in Long Island for a year. The owner was a old lady. She was nice. She has no problem making fun of herself and saying she is bored all day. But she's a old widow who needs some stable income to live by because of this capitalist system. It's the ones who believe they have high skilled talent for being a landlord.

 

It DOES take balls to scale though. Even if you're using mostly someone else's borrowed money.

 

Like the guy in the interview - seems ok - but maybe that's just me. My "criteria" doesn't fit all. But I do see the point of the story. I do think that some should be given another chance because if you don't, they have little to no choice.

But yeah I think pedos commit the sin that has to be forever watched out for (on the most innocent).
