That’s called Reekonalytics trying to push a false narrative without sharing his sources. He hates Sengun so much that he nitpicks all the superficial details about him and can’t appreciate his game once lol. Poor dude.

 

A lot of times stats can be misleading. I think Garrison Mathews has the best on/off defensive stats for the team but that doesn't mean he should be playing more minutes.

I don't think Sengun as the center is the long-term solution. He should be a forward and we need to get a big that can do the defensive dirty work to pair along with him. Sengun would need to improve his 3 pt shooting though and I think he is capable of that.

 

You do realise people can see the post history right? You don't get to try and paint me as doing what you do in almost every single reply to somebody who says anything critical of Sengun. I think it's more PF than small forward that they're suggesting to be fair. Still a big man, just not the center. Not sure I agree with them, but plenty of PF's have played in the post as their main scoring position.

Not a SF, a power forward. He will still be doing the same things he does today but will have help on defense with a 7' big. Imagine having Green, Jabari, Sengun, and a 7' skilled big man (hopefully Wemby) in the same lineup. Rebuild complete.

Fernando in his starts has averaged… 17mpg

Fernando has never been at any point a threat to Sengun’s minutes, and Sengun averages 3x more minutes… as a direct result of Silas’ rotations and minute allocations.
