He would be the leader that would have the young Rockets go to strip clubs, especially on road trips. He is lazy and a very bad influence on the already atrocious defenders on the team.
Maybe. I’m not totally opposed to Harden coming back… but there is a certain desperation that doesn’t sit well me.
You’re the one who needs to do better. Someone will give him a max and rightfully so. This team wanted to keep OLADIPO. The money will be spent whether it goes to Harden or some scrub like KPJ. Bring the 2nd GOAT Rocket home.
And Segun. And Green. KMJ would get better too. So would lob threat(s). KPJ becomes better off-ball. Whoever we draft this year will also benefit. Literally everyone gets better. It’s almost like adding one of the best playmakers in the game to your team is a good idea. People drool over CP3 but don’t want Harden lmao.
So Harden, who couldn't win with MVP-caliber Embiid or Durant will come over here and win with 20 year old Smith and 21 year old Green? Or are we trading them? If we are trading them which star will want to play with 34 year old maxed out Harden? How much control does Harden have here? Rockets would no doubt improve by signing Harden and we might even make the playoffs. We also get the ball out of KPJs hands, which would be cool. But, the NBA has layers of cap limits that impacts free agency signings, roster construction, etc. We tore everything down, cleared cap space, have 2-4 young core pieces just to max out a 34 year old Harden? What's the goal here? I personally want to win multiple championships. Harden being our first max player screams desperate without some amazing follow-up steps.
What other star has rumors suggested might be willing to come join a bottom feeding team with an incompetent coach and currently led by the world’s dumbest point guard due to one of the most grossly misguided decisions in recent NBA coaching history?
Embiid without Harden last year…29 ppg on 49% from the field and 36% from 3 Embiid with Harden last year…33 ppg on 52% from the field and 40% from 3 Embiid without Harden this year is shooting 50% from the field and 25% from 3 Embiid with Harden this year…33 ppg on 55% from the field 42% from 3
You are dreaming about multiple championships while I’m just hoping for even 1. The hope for me is that while Harden runs the ship, Green and Sengun has a chance to develop with a phenomenal playmaker (something they will never have the chance of with KPJ) and we have maybe another star wanting to join Harden and Green.
“Steph Curry considers joining Houston Rockets.” nah too old lol won’t guarantee we will win a championship bro why pay him max
Like I said, KPJ already has a contract so it was just ignorant to suggest I want to “max KPJ”. Frankly, I’m not in the KPJ camp. Bringing the 2nd GOAT Rocket home at whatever price is just desperate and short sighted.
We don’t even know if Harden is being serious or just using us as leverage…. All that other stuff you said is just hyperbole. I realize rebuilding is tough but many of y’all just sound desperate.
Tyrese Maxey without Harden last year…17 ppg on 48% from the field and 39% from 3 Tyrese Maxey with James Harden last year…18 ppg on 52% from the field and 50% from 3 Maxey with Harden this year…24 ppg on 52% from the field and 47% from 3 Tobias Harris without Harden last year…48% from the field and 34% from 3 Harris with Harden…49% from the field and 41% from 3 Sixers offense last year before Harden played a game…111 offensive rating, ranked 14th Sixers offense last year after Harden…118 offensive rating, ranked 8th in that span
