Dumb doesn’t mean he got low BBIQ…playing selfish made him look very dumb. That’s why he never got a ring before.

Still 1000 times higher BBIQ than KPJ.

That would be awful for Sengun, especially if we draft Wemby

Harden is way mature now and his role within the team will be inferior. Way better passer than our current PG. I don’t see how that is awful for Sengun.

They would get a more defensive center that can catch lobs. They’re not taking the ball out of his hands and Jalen would be the 2nd options. He could make plays with Sengun, but it’s not gonna be their preference

Oh, Alpi would ask for a trade right away. He hates Harden.

I know you’re being sarcastic lol. Everyone is tired of Sengun being used as a PnR big.. well, he’s definitely gonna be that if we get harden. Most here wants everything to run through him, and that’s not ever gonna happen with harden. Just something to consider with this move

Why wouldn't Sengun fans not want him to be a pnr big? Pnr isn't the final action of a player. A pnr often leads to Sengun having a post up opportunity with proper spacing due to the pnr action. It's a read and react type thing. Green is the pnr ball handler, depending how the defense plays off the screen Green can make the decision to pass it to the roll or pick and pop man in Sengun and Sengun can decide from that point if a post up move is the best option or passing it out to a shooter is the best option or passing it to a cutter is the best option.

Pnr is probably the most efficient way to get Sengun post up opportunities because fighting for post position the old school way stagnates offenses as guards are just standing around with the ball waiting for Sengun to put wrestle his defender and often is harder to make the entry pass creating situations where we waste more than half the shot clock just trying to get an entry pass in.

Jokic takes up a lot more space therefore it's easier to just dump the ball to him after he establishes post position. It takes like 15 seconds for Sengun to successfully fend off his defender for an established post position. He gets early post up looks in the shot clock only after a pnr play that set him up with some space in a high post situation.

Yeah I understand how you view it and all. My point is that they’re not gonna do that lol. Also, you gotta think about defense as well. We always surrounded harden with plus defenders

Actually I'm not OK with running everything through the boy. We're always talking about it as if it were the key to eternal life, but I'm sure teams will wise up to it and adjustments will have to be made anyway. So, this offensive hub thing must be one of several alternatives and be turned on and off during games. I believe this wiil be infinitely more effective.
From what I've seen from Alpi, Bari, Jalen, Tari, Usman, KJM, TyTy, Bruno... this bunch is two steps away from being a completely unselfish system team. (Isn't it strange our nepotist coach advocates the opposite kind of game by the way?) Get rid of KPJ, EGo & Josh (in that order) and it's a veritable system squad! Harden would love playing with these boys.
A thought: Harden & Alpi could share PG duties if the coach keeps one of them on the court at all times.

    That said,
MY BOY ALPI ROCKS & TEABAGS Y'ALL!

Harden ain't selfish bro. Stubborn? Sure but selfish ain't it. The man was always willing to pass the ball. Only reason why he never won a ring was bc he never had a super team that rival the warrior dynasty pound for pound.

Just stick to kpj and his issuses, no need to slander harden. If harden was here, sengun would look like a God. Harden will rack assists easily with sengun

we already have harden 2.0 and his name is alperen sengun...

if he accepts a role lesser than sengun and signs on cheap perhaps it could work ...in ideal world it could work 100%....with great management/leadership they could work ...but with this management dont think any combo of players can work...especialy not the harden type...

i see harden more as your turn my turn guy..not a great team player like sengun despite the assists...westbrick is master of assist also......dont think it will change in old age...especially with the shity management like this, i fear harden will usurp the power again...

harden is the only one to blame he never won anything and he had a goat potential...if KPJ wipes the floor with the management and coaches imagine what Harden will do...

I see that vision as well. Just don’t think it’ll happen tho. Sengun fans better hope we don’t draft Wemby, bc him and harden could mean his days here are numbered. Most likely Philly will pay him tho

You've got to remember all these SOF's have only watched NBA since last season. They're making up their "knowledge" about everything else as they go along. That's why they think Sengun is already all-star/MVP calibre, they have no frame of reference of what that actually looks like. Of course they don't know what they're talking about with Beard (who is on a whole level above Sengun in terms of talent, vision and playmaking.)

Actually, no. Remember last season when Sengun would receive the ball in the low post, do a few moves and pass it back to a guard waiting at the 3-pt line? That was efficient!
This year we're trying to isolate Sengun with the other 4 players sittin' static at the opposite side of the halfcourt. Sengun is easily doubled this way. At least one of those players has to be on Sengun's side of the court so that he can just turn around and pass for an open 3. If another player cuts to the hoop, even better.

Alright I will take that…definitely an upgrade over KPJ but not a long term solution.
