Like a few in this thread I was done with Harden, but... You add a vet PG who is a triple double threat to our exciting youth movement and it could be magic. This is certainly leverage, but it could become a real option. Reasons to consider... - OKC owns our pick after this year, so its time to load up. - KPJ would likely accept a 6th man role if his hero returns. - Harden would get Green, Jabari and Sengun going--especially if we get a new coach/system. - Harden loves H-Town and contributed a lot to the city. - Harden's game should age well (if he can stay in shape). I'm talking myself into accepting his return, but my biggest worry is not his game, but his lack of leadership skills injected into our developing young core. Can he elevate that aspect of his game and set the example? That is the question I'm not sure is answerable until we see him in that situation, which makes this a risky potential opportunity.

Harden is the only free agent of real value that would even come to the worst team in the league. If he wants to come back, obviously you sign him. Especially with the picks likely going to OKC.

Nah, I have to disagree with that. Harden and Sengun 2 man game would be lethal, it just wouldn't be lob threats. But what the **** do you do when both members of the P n R could hit you with insane creative passes you don't expect? And both of them can finish great inside with contact.
