How about that stupid win against Tennessee today? Does nothing for you. Lose today and you guarantee a top two slot.

Now you win against Jacksonville and the Colts(Not out of the realm with the way this team is playing) and you might be drafting outside of the top 5 while being the worst team in the league for 80% of the season.

Hopefully Today's win was just a result of the Titans not having a player capable of throwing a ball.

Trevor has looked good recently so that might work out.

Yea but Tua seems pretty good now. And honestly I think he’s better at reading defenses and going through reads. And I would say the talent around him will be better, comfort of Metchie, but the defenses he face will also be better to be fair.

After this accidental win today.. and having to lose the next to games for sure, you honestly want to punt and “hope” we have first pick next draft? Y’all bold.

texans will draft Anderson, everyone here will immediately start talking about Williams and Maye.. then one of them will end up sucking all of next year and we’ll end up accidentally winning too many games and get neither and be stuck with some 2nd round hopefull.. good lord guys..

In fairness it’s not like the Texans played well today…they were just less bad.

The Texans have played well the last 3 games. I doubt they beat the Jags, but it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that they win the next two games. If Howard is out they probably get killed, because Mills will.

    Yeah pretty much.

He has a tendency to stare down receivers, doesn't make good second reads, and throws at least 1 interception a game that does not make any sense.

He would get benched in a heartbeat in the NFL.

I’m on record as the Young or no-other-QB bus in this draft if you’re picking a QB. I think he’s the only potential franchise guy of the projected top QBs.

That said, I’m starting to talk myself more into the crazy scenarios, especially seeing how a QB a little smaller like Tua is holding up.

Sounds crazy, but what if we load up on weapons defense/trade down but toss the Packers a 3rd round pick for Love or throw the Jets a 4/5 for Zach Wilson? You might bust big time or you might strike gold and I really prefer Maye or Williams in 2024 anyways if you do bust. If you somehow hit, it didn’t cost you one of our top picks to do so.

    Draft watch:

    Texans: Jville-H, Indy-R
    Chicago: Lions-R, Minny-H
    Arizona: Atl-R, SF-R
    Denver: KC-R, Chargers-R
    Indy: LAC-now, NYG-R, Texans-H
ATL: Cards and Bucs at home
Rams: Chargers and Seahawks on the road
    Saints: Eagles-R, Panthers-H
Browns: DC and Pitt on the road
Vegas: SF and KC at home
Carolina: Bucs and Saints on the road

Someone with more time GAF than me should crunch the possibilities and tell us who we need to be rooting for to maximize the Texans and Browns draft picks.

I think the Jagoffs have that winning momentum going and have an actual shot at the playoffs, which is crazy. I believe our winning streak will be over against them this Sunday.

The ****ing Colts.... they're a mess, but I think they will pull it off against us since they are at home. With that, we will secure that #1 pick.

Now, the more important CLE pick....my guess is we will be getting it in the 9-13 range. One of those shitty teams in the 2-8 range isn't gonna pull off any upsets. For CLE, that ****in' sexual predator is going to pull off some bullshit and get them at least 1 more win before this season ends. It would be nice to get a top 10 pick, but I'm not holding my breath.

I’d rather keep Howard at RT, draft the ND TE, a WR or best DL at 11 and draft a G/C in a later round.

I would take QB with pick 1 and WR with pick 10.

Both are giant needs and WR is the safest and most impactful position

If CJ Stroud absolutely kills it in the CFP, would that change any of your minds?

There’s nothing Stroud can do to make me want him. He has no upside.

    Young, maybe Levis. That’s it

He would have to somehow showcase an ability to handle pressure and create off schedule with his legs. Neither of those things are likely to happen, even if he ends up playing well. I liked a comparison I heard for him recently. He's Jared Goff +. A bit more upside than Jared Goff, but needs to be in perfect system with almost everything going right for him.
