He is more like a natural leader that Rockets needs. Doesn’t matter if he is the best player but the necessary one.

yes it’s a legit question but in order to answer that, Rockets needs to be a playoff team right? One thing is certain for now, this team plays better offense when Sengun has more touches of the ball. It’s quite obvious and I’m sure you can see that. Let’s see the development on that first. The concern of yours is understandable but doesn’t need to be addressed immediately. Not only his defense is bad but the whole team defense is a concern. Jalen and KPJ should also be unplayable during playoffs considering how terrible they are currently at defense but does that mean they will still suck at that in future? If your guards become a ghost on the defensive end like how Trae Young is, that pretty much means you got no chance of winning the title as well. Doncic gonna keep torching them anytime of the year. Sengun is 20 years old and if he doesn’t show ANY improvement on that side in the next 2-3 years, I would definitely agree with you that he isn’t playable during playoffs.

You know how I've been wanting 7-9 post ups for Sengun and 3-4 for Jabari mythbusting the myth that it 'slows' down the offense? He had 10 post ups his highest. The only thing that slowed down the offense was shooting 26 3s and only making 8 of them. Still feel he needs an off season training with Aquaman to learn a few things. Those international kids stick together.
