Simple observation. We either need to make it work between a KPJ/Jabari pick and roll or move KPJ over the next 9 months to set him up as the "true leader of this team".

I am sure glad this got its own thread.

I guess another Jabari thread just a few lines down was hard to see.

Jabari's skill level changes virtually nothing about our plans for KPJ. Need to make another thinly disguised trade KPJ thread, this one is a failure.

This thread was created to trigger Sengun supporters but it’s not gonna work the way you want :) I fully support Jabari… he isn’t some selfish dumb**** and plays for WINNING. If Sengun is gonna be benched because of Jabari’s superior gameplay, then let it be.

the way they played at Dallas game was magical… I love it

I do think Jabari needs to be our best player for this group to succeed.

Jabari's been nothing but a hardworking team player so far. I don't care about his ceiling, potential, future etc.
He is a player anybody would want on the roster. I'm proud to have him here.
Building on the already-present chemistry, they will make a killer duo with Alpi.
I'm not surprised; both are unselfish, ambitious and leave all on the floor for wins.

don’t worry he changes his opinions every few days. We can’t understand his deep basketball knowledge as amateurs…lol

btw did I tell you that dadakota was a pro baller but his legs betrayed him? We could have seen him playing as a center instead of Sengun…

    **** injuries.

    That would be Jalen Green.

Smith Jr probably ends up being the best though. Great defender, improving handle, amazing jumper. The highest floor for sure.

don’t tell me he carries a brain in his head? I thought you don’t need a brain to be a pro baller… KPJ proved me that many times.

Before the season started Jabari specifically mentioned his competitive nature and that his aim for the team was making the playoffs this year.
Yesterday's game especially showed why he is a top 3 pick. Banchero is great as well and fits very well with Orlando. Lucky for Rockets Bari fell thus to 3 - I truly believe he has a HİGH ceiling. Some of his shots resemble to KD. He looks like a guy who could be our Kawhi Leonard.
This is very exciting. This thread is right on the money. And if he is our best player and he has Jalen, Alpi etc. with him growing up.
And also yesterday Bari and Alp really looked like a good (at least offensive) duo.
I am mad excited about the upcoming Bulls, Celtics and Dallas games.

50 points is a nice gift to Mavs fans but I truly believe Bari also had a great gift for us.

I wish everybody a Merry Christmas. All the best for all you guys and looking forward for a great team for years to come..

I don't think he's the best player currently, he may be in the future, even though I think Green has a higher ceiling. In all honesty, I think it's more likely that Jabari ends up the #2 player on the stat sheet to Jalen, but the leader and heart of the team despite that.

He's got a long way to go if he wants to be our best player. His handle is still suspect, his self creation doesn't look great (a lot of this is due to his poor handle), and his playmaking for others is mostly non existent. I think he'd have to see massive improvements in all three of these areas, or at least two of them, if he's going to be a #1. But he's only 19 and he's shown flashes in all three areas, so it's not crazy.

Honestly, he probably is. If he develops well he will become more impactful than Green and he is already more assertive. But this also explains why we are one of the worst teams in the league and the worst Rockets team in the last 25 years. Bring on Wemby/Scoot.

honestly you probably have no clue... but this also explains why we are the worst team in nba... because management caters to clueless fanbase
