The whole team is young. Why doesn't the "he's just a kid" argument apply to everyone else? Sengun's the only young player on the roster?

 

Sengun played great, we always play less minutes than all of the starters and get less shots than the other starters. We really help Jabari to get his shots. This is what most Good Point Guards do…take pride in giving the ball to your Big Men…someone needs to tell KPJ

 

it does? no one is calling out smith or green who are a rookie and 2nd year player respectively, the only one that most people got pissed off at was KPJ who did committed stupid mistakes in crunch time.

 

So you expect people to blame a 20 yo after a game he had 19-8-7 in 26 minutes with %76 TS and 0 TO?

i'm not surprise u wrote this and the dumba$$ who also liked the comment. Apparently anybody that says anti sengun stuff gets a like from him, or he actually agrees with it.

Sengun somehow commited 2 low iq turnovers in a game where he has no turnovers.

The dumb list isn't entirely wrong, hatred for sengun has made u guys dumba$$es.

 

I wanted to point out this as well.
Our back court's efficiency is simply too low to win games. JG who is considered as the face of this franchise is shooting 41% and 31% from 3 in the season! And then kpj is shooting 42% and 32% from 3. That's one of the main reason why we are not winning games but nobody really talks about it.
To put things into perspective:
Portland: Lillard: 45%, 39% from 3,Simons: 44%, 38% from 3.
OKC: SGA: 50%, 35% from 3. Giddey (whose offensive rating is one of the worst in the league): 47%, 33% from 3
PACERS: Haliburton:48%, 40% from 3. Hield: 45% , 41% from 3. Mathurin: 41%, 36%.

The list goes on. Our backcourt efficiency is one of the worst in the league if not the worst.

One of the worst habits of the culture Silas created is whenever our backcourt is cooking they resort to a 2 man show. However, throughout the game, backcourt effiency drops and by that time since all other players have been iced, we can't recover the game.

On today's game, I really liked the ball movement along with Jabaris improving confiendence.

I think the offense looked much less stagnant when Sengun was used as a play maker whether at the post or through p&r.
I would like the team to see keep up with this.
Overall, a much better loss than Orlando or spurs games.

Luv the post . But bad news for you, the rockets won't use sengun as a playmaker. For Two reasons, silas is a guard first oriented offense scheme coach not a center playmaker coach and second kpj has no clue how to pass or move. And both are loved by stone and both will probably be here next year . Whole organization doesn't have a clue how to fix the problems on the court. And Tillman is to blame until he gets out of his mancave in vegas and fires stone and silas. I truly believe the next coach will not like kpj and bench him, unless it's God forbid Lucas. He won't bench kp either, that's why Tillman needs to do something big because there is alot of people that need to be fired and until Tillman does it we are going to have a crappy product. I still think there might be a chance the team gets moved to Vegas for lack of fan support in Houston. I know silver said vegas would be getting a new team not already in the nba but I wouldn't trust what he says. Seems like a politically correct type guy in his interviews and won't tell you everything, Tillman is doing nothing to improve the roster or coaching. And it's so apparent that I think it's intential to withdraw the fanbase and at the same time he's expanding his real estate in vegas and California. I just wouldn't be surprised if they move to Vegas In a couple years.

 

The kid had 7 assist with 0 to as a center in 26 mins. Also hit 6 of 9 fg.

We shot awful from 3pt line and Luka had his career night just like many guards playing against us. That's why we lost.

I'm really tired of our reckless street hoop ways. KPJ, Green & Tari pissed me off. That 4th quarter where Jabari carried us were ruined, by KPJ botching a 4-on-1, Tari looking down and out of control instead of passing to Martin, fumbling easy passes, Sengun missing easy shots and shrinking like a midget. Pass it to Jabari and get out of the ****ing way for crying out loud. Glad we lost.

The positive: Mathews can stay with Luka, at least for one or two plays, Jabari and Green on offense.

 

Cursing is all good because some of these Sengun hate posters simply deserve that. Doesn’t matter if I’m banned. As long as there is an unfair treatment to the offensive engine of this team, the more he keeps being ignored, not mentioned, not credited for what he does… I will remind them who is the REAL BOSS in the roster.

Last game, the deficit would be 15-20 for Dallas if Sengun didn’t play a very good 3rd quarter with Smith. Instead of acknowledging that, hate posters keep nitpicking or totally ignore his contributions. I never said Sengun is immune to criticism but when he plays GREAT, you gotta give him the credit. When he is your PRIMARY option for watchable offense, you gotta stop with idiotic nitpicking. The defense is a concern yes but so for the others. Doncic didn’t score 50 because of Sengun’s defense. A very few posters mention how terrible Green and KPJ at perimeter defense…almost every guard against them has career nights.

These hate posters don’t deserve a SELFLESS PLAYER like Sengun. Hope KPJ will be here forever as the main point guard with his SELFISH STREET BALL PLAYSTYLE.

 

nice...its hard to see a future for rockets in houston...even at the peak harden years TC attendence was criminal and atmosphere weak...

 

haha the real irony is everybody would be much better off, especially kpj and jalen, with sengun playing mayor minutes and taking up mayority of usage...this is why you have to love basketball its a simple and beautiful team game

 

This is going to hurt you if you look up win/loss splits for both Alpi and Green.


Because if you do it's kinda clear cut which player needs to take more shots and be the center of offense to actually win games.

Hint: Alpi averages more points in Rocket loses.

 

he just isnt used to playing late in games yet because silas used to sit him out in the clutch for years now
