ClutchFans Game Thread: Mavericks @ Rockets 12/23/2022

All things considered, this game was far more entertaining than the last four.

I'd rather us play well in the second half and lose valiantly as opposed to leading in the first and throwing the game away.

I don't think there's anything I can say that hasn't already been said; Green and Sengun played well despite not finishing on a high note, Jabari is proving why he might end up being the most impactful player in the draft, and Martin is showing that he should be starting over Gordon forever onwards.

I'm pretty fed up with KPJ but I'm not going to keep beating that horse when we have a whole thread for it.

I'm gonna enjoy my Christmas break, and I hope our young guys do too. God knows they've talked about it enough

Just checked the game stats and saw Nix was a -9,000 in the game. Looks like he's improving.

When Green has 20+ thru 3 quarters does Silas tell his bookie to bet the under on Green points in the 4th? It's been quite a few games now where Green has it going and then puts up like....2 in the 4th quarter. Its bizarre.

I genuinely feel sad for your parents and wife/husband.

 

Everyone makes mistakes 1 or 2 possessions shouldnt invalidate everything you did prior.

At the end of the day basketball is a numbers game every ft 1, fg 2 pt and 3 pointer 3 pts. Focusing on the last posession is just human bias but isnt really all that impactful objectively.

 

As for this game I dont care, we tanking so any loss is great for me.

I will say Luka is already a HOF caliber player at age 23 its crazy. If he can remain injury free he will prob go down as the new GOAT and supplant Lebron.

 

Blaming out Sengun while he only took 6 out of 9 shots and under 27 mins. Blame the coach for all I care, but why dont you posters criticize Jalen Greens game? He shot poorly but was incredible getting to the line

 

Excuses. Nobody seems to use these excuses with anybody other than Sengun. Everybody else is low IQ & needs to get fired immediately. But with Sengun it's "everybody makes mistakes, it's a part of basketball". When will you guys hold Sengun accountable for his poor play?
