I thought they said he couldn't dribble or finish at the rim? That he can't do jack **** outside of shooting soft jumpers? LOL... idiots
Proud to say I was wrong about him.. But to my defense, some of yall made it easy to doubt saying he was KD 2.0 and ****.. lol Every few games, he shows something offensively that he clearly works on that even his fans didn't know he had in his bag..
Honestly I can live with him shooting 35% from the field if he keeps taking more risks on O like he did this game. 1 Jabari TO from trying something > 5 KPJ TO from doing his tired old ****.
What a great game from him tonight. Besides the obvious parts, my favorite thing he did was when he demanded the ball late in the game, dribbled it up the court and buried the shot. He's gaining confidence and he wants that shot late in the fourth quarter, love to see that.
He has a really pure shot. He just needs to learn how to get them off. It's quite encouraging when he can just dribble down and pull up with confidence
He is definitely more confident than at the beginning of the season. People say he can't create his own shots. He can, not by some fancy dribbling, but he is dribbling around close out defender to an open spot where he can get the shot off. That's creating his own shot in my book. Tonight he even make a few nice passes to cutters. He is still pretty weak around the basket. I think that this is due to his lack of explosiveness. With his size, he should be hammering with authority at rim. But he doesn't seem to be able to take off fast and high enough to do that.
