THe ratio of his PPP on drives to the rim vs. midrange was much higher 4 years ago. It's different now becuase he can't finish like he used to.

Used to be that even a Harden missed layup graded out as a good play because it opened up a lot of easy tip-ins.

I wonder if hid ability to be a scorer is just completely gone. He looks good but damn man, he passes ALOT and idk if that's doc just telling him to do that.

Yeah but vs Warriors he wasn’t getting calls and that lead to turnovers driving to rim….if he mixed in some midrange it would of changed the outcome of a few games

This is true. In 23 playoff games vs the Warriors … Harden has shot 31% from 3 while jacking up 10 attempts per game. It’s like hey dummy, when you shootin Westbrick percentages how about try taking a few steps IN instead of launching step back 3’s off of one foot from 28 feet out. For a guy with supposed high basketball IQ you think he’d be able to figure that one out.

The Warriors were just better man. They won the West 5 years in row.

Harden had a 20/11/21 game. Wow.

Tied the Sixers record for the most assists in a game. 20 pts 21 assists 11 rebounds …it’s unreal

He's not as explosive as he once was, and his vaunted deceleration will possibly never return to where it was during his time with us.

And yet, James Harden is almost always one of the most impactful players on the floor. You can't teach the feel and the IQ that he plays with.

Is it going to be enough to win a championship in the poorly-coached and constructed Sixers? I dunno, but he's certainly keeping Doc's job alive by disguising a lot of coaching failures with his playmaking brilliance

Doc IS Mchale, except he had the good fortune to win a chip off the backs of his Big Three and forever change how he's perceived as a coach.

Nobody is McHale, McHale was a smokin' good commentator, witty.

Hard to imagine Rivers being a good analyst.

It's still underestimated that for a 4-5 year span for us, Harden could choose to either lead the league in points or assists, depending on whichever he felt like doing more.

speaking like he averages 21 assists...LOL
he may average 30 assists for all that i care.... wont change a fact hes been one dumb, selfish and very limited player

ps remember last year playoffs when superstar harden and his buddy superstar embiid get their asses kicked by pick no 30 that cant shoot 3s and a bunch of undraftees...

    it even rhymes beautifully! lolol

a sign its a poetic truth in case anyone tries disputing the fact...
