Bruh.. Why is everything so objective with you? You read all that and the thing you want explained is " I don't think he's deserving of the primary initiator role yet" ? That young boy aint ready for that.. I feel like I'm being trolled so I'm bowing out .. Keep on keepin on and Merry Xmas/ HNY bruh..
It's defined and written exactly the same way as in French, but pronounced in English. The -ade suffix adds a meaning along the lines of "drink made with/of" to the noun it's compounded with: Lemonade, cherryade, orangeade... Someone somewhere had the brilliant idea to make up words with it for energy drinks too: Gatorade, Powerade... (The "Aid" in Kool-Aid comes from -ade too!) I guess it's Latin for -ed (of sorts). Thus we can rationalize "blockade", "cannonnade" or "fusillade" not being drinks.
It’s tough to tell what Sengun can become. It’s like guessing how Jokic could become during his earlier years. My projection for Sengun is a better Sabonis but I wouldn’t be really surprised if he exceeds expectations massively. One thing I’m sure about Sengun is that he is a player, very eager to improve himself. Not sure how long you have been following him but if you watch him closely, you will recognize that his personality is gold giving him the star potential. Hardworking, fully dedicated to the game of basketball and fast learner. Not only that but a team first player. He wants team success, not stat padding for his own selfish reasons. I don’t know why I need to say this right now but all Rockets fans should realize he isn’t an ordinary player…if you are patient with him, trust him, give him a role through which he can operate to a certain extent, the return will be valuable.
What you say is very reasonable, it is the natural progression of things and should have been done in the past year so that by now we have an idea. But that time has been spent on kpj and we know he can’t do much. I think the crucial thing is we have to move the ball more, move off ball more and have Sengun, and everybody other than kpj more touches in a more moving offense. In such a scenario Sengun will show quickly whether he is the best playmaker or not. of course this will not happen. Not just changing the offense but also the green light to Sengun to show creativity.
We are having a friendly discussion. What makes you feel annoyed or threatened? I just asked you a legitimate question and you don’t even care to respond why he ain’t ready for initiating the offense? What else do you expect to see from him? Be honest and say; I don’t have an answer for you because I don’t even watch Rockets games.
Okay, that’s fair. Let me ask you this. What if we draft Wemby and Jabari adds about 25 lbs of muscle over the next few years. What happens to Sengun then? Where does he fit?
Very complicated question…few things need to be clarified. 1-Wemby’s adaptation to the NBA, the question of him being injury prone. 2-Sengun’s development during off season and how he will be used under a new coach(considering Silas will be fired) 3-In the case of improvement on his handles, Jabari can play at 3 for sure so it’s not an obstacle for Sengun not to play at 5 and wemby at 4. 4-Even let’s say Jabari gains 25 lbs, I have concerns if he is able to play at 5. Lack of fundamentals, doesn’t know how to box out. 5- If Wemby stays healthy, he might become a player without a definite position so we may even see him in action at 2-3-4-5. 6- How Sengun and Wemby would operate on the court needs to be observed. Especially on the defensive end. 7-For Sengun to reflect his value, he needs touches, especially in the post. If that doesn’t happen, you waste his skillset and doesn’t really take benefit of his strength. Due to having exceptional passing ability as a center, he will always be useful, as a starter or from the bench. a 33 percent 3 pointer may turn him into a way better threat than most centers. If he doesn’t have to deal with a silly head coach like Silas, Sengun will decide on his own destiny.
Latin-Turkish similarities /convenience is amazing. The phonetics more or less same. When Turkish borrows from Latin there is no need to change any letter/sound. Limonata was just passed to Turkish as it was, no need to make it Lemonade or something different. Latin inspired Cikolata is also same. Sentence structure is same (SOV). Alphabet is very convenient, little adjustment made by Akhundzadeh Mirza Fethali/Binbasi Omer/Menemenlizade Tahir was enough for wowel-rich Turkish. Thanks to Latium people for the beautiful language /alphabet.
I think Jabari can play the 3. He is basically a 3 and D player now, could become a better Rashard Lewis. 144 minutes at the C, PF, SF positions. C: Sengun (32), Wemby (16) PF: Wemby (16), Bari (20), Garuba (12) SF: Tari (28), Bari (12), KMJ (8) SG: Green (30), KMJ (18) PG: TyTy (28), Green (8), Tate (12) Traded/cut: Gordon, Nix, KPJ, Bruno Spot minutes here and there for Boban, Mathews, JC
Sengun is doing very well for his 2nd year. He has progress from last year but he is not progressing presently because of Silas and KPJ, but he will be fine. People think Mobley is going to be a great Center, let’s compare the two center’s stats: Mobley’s Stats PPG: 14.8 REB: 9.1 BLKS: 1.3 FG%: 55.8%. Sengun’s Stats PPG: 14.4 REB: 8.7. BLKS: 0.6. FG%: 54.5% Sengun is on the path to be an all star center, his second year is better than Jokic and Sabonis’s 2nd year. We just need a real point guard and a new coach.
Mobley play 34 mpg when Alpi is permitted to 26.3 minutes. Mobley per 34: 14.8 points, 9.1 rebs Alpi per 34 : 18.6 points, 11.2 rebs. Mobley played next to Allen, Markkanen, Love last year. Alpi played next to CWood, Tate last year. Alpi is not a finished product but certainly much better player than Mobley. To be drafted earlier than Alpi doesn't make Mobley better player. Alpi will certainly have a better career than Mobley. p.s Mobley certainly is a good player, Alpi is just better.
I agree with your previous posts suggesting Wemby-Sengun-Jabari front court. I am also old enough to watch Gregor F u c k A (7'1") and Pau Gasol at 3, mismatch SFs.
I thought it doesn't matter, as long as the minutes are there? Could have Bari start and Tari back him up. Shouldn't matter.
