Nobody is asking for that and you know it. But still

    1) a guard that can only playmake is still infinite times better than a guard that can't shoot or playmake
    2) if a pg is going to be able to do only one thing, it better be the playmaking. The point of a combo guard is being able to do two things above a certain level.

Yup. Basically what Hollinger and Lowe and others have said about Porter…. The names “Porter” and “Silas” and the word “bad” are used a lot together.

I have not heard one NBA person say they think that duo will work.

Maybe Silas can take KPJ, Oladipo and Gordon and will a title in China.

Harden compensate for not great passes, by drawing so much attention against opposing defense that his teammates have wide open shots.

There's a reason by the behind the back pass to a 3pt shooter worked well for harden.

KPJ needs to b more of a scoring threat to compensate for his subpar passing ability.

honestly this. I don’t see how anyone can argue with this. We all watch the same games. So I hope KPJ fans will acknowledge that these are legit concerns and not just people “hating” on him.

Oh mos def. I laughed because he thinks them moving his locker is somehow worse than him screwing over the team, the ONLY team to give him a shot at that time, by doing the same type of crap he had done everywhere else along the way. That's how he repaid them.

BTW, only reason they moved it was because he had already pulled the crap.

So who really got F'd there.

Woohoo, at least one more season of this bum.
Why most sane people wanted to wait.

“No! No! No! Pay him $23M now or $30M later!”
    “Breakout season coming!”
    “Future star!”

    It’s Silas’ fault.
    It’s the holidays (LOL)
It's the holidays, family and everything. It's just outside frustration probably getting in and that's with everyone.
Everyone else’s and their grandma’s fault.

Silas was here when you predicted “big things coming! Breakout season coming!” o_O
“Yeahh but well uhh what I uhh meant was uhh…”

Securing him now for $20M is a GREAT deal! $15M is a HUGE discount!

calling KPJ a bum isn’t that far off…matter of fact, it’s pretty accurate

forget his off the court stuff, the dude sucks…leading the league in turnovers while not even averaging a measly 6 assists a game…shooting percentage is garbage, can’t score efficiently

    he for real just sucks

I never like the usage of bum to describe a player. Feel like it was more personal when folks use that word. Dem harden haters still call him a bum

I would not call him a bum. Dude practices hard by all accounts. It's purely a matter of what goes on between the ears for him.

Among all things, the body language, attitude on court is the thing that irritates me most. Even he was a very good player, those would put me off immensely.

The most painfull thing is the fact that he's hurting future center pieces, like Jabary or Sengun or even Jalen. Someone remember when was the last time KPJ assisted to Jalen?

fair enough…I don’t really make much of a distinction between calling a player a bum, scrub, saying he sucks, etc…all interchangeable to me if we’re strictly talking about on-court play

Where are the results if he’s truly practicing hard? It’s year 4, and he hasn’t improved in any meaningful way.

What are these accounts of him practicing hard? I can’t recall seeing that. I do remember this tho

Lucas requires Green to participate in the early sessions on game days. They are optional for Porter, whose attendance has been sporadic.

"It's his third year, and I've got to respect that," Lucas says. "I'm waiting for him to come willingly."

Lucas compares his approach to Porter's development to "kid gloves," saying he gauges Porter's mood before determining how hard to push him that day. Lucas worries that Porter will tune him out if he demands too much.

KPJ fans will just cherry pick stats that help make him look better or as if he is not the problem. But if you just watch the games you will see obviously that he's not a good playmaker and he's not a good scorer. He is the biggest reason that we play sticky ball and don't get any assists.

This is another case where the mental illness is overplayed and used as a crutch.

I can believe he puts in the time. But if the lack of concentration, motivation and accountability on the court is any hint on how he practices, you will see no results.
