If they did move him to a closet, I’m sure Porter could sue them

    It's a serious mental issue.

Clutch should honestly seek him out to ensure he gets help.

Vecenie: Kevin Porter Jr. is a huge reason why this team is last in the league in both turnover rate and assist rate. I don’t think he’s the kind of player I’d want running an offense, at least as a starter. His minutes with Bruno Fernando have been much better because Fernando puts pressure on the rim as a roller for Porter to hit on lobs, but I don’t think Porter executes kick-out passes to shooters all that well. I don’t think he makes it easy on the young guys as a table setter.

I agree with that for now, I am hopeful he develops that.

It doesn't take a genius to see that kpj doesn't give his teammates wide open ez looks. His passing game is so subpar the team suffers from it

Actually he generates more than 10 a game - but right now he is playing with the brick crew.

Any fool can pass the ball, its obvious kpj doesn't give good passes.
It also obvious that the silas offense system isn't setting his players up for success either

Everytime DD gets emotionally attached to a player it is the signal of doom. I'm now certain that KPJ's days as a Rocket are numbered, and his NBA career may be in danger too if his fandom continues after he leaves the Rockets.

I don't even like him that much, I think people blame him for the team's problems - and if he wasn't here we would still suck.

My issue is I don't like bullying when a guy is turning his life around and has taken on a new role and is trying to learn.

I will defend nonsensical bullshit by people who just want to hate on a kid.

So explain that to me, would you? How getting a ball to Jabari for a wide open shot and he misses is KPJ's fault.....or to Green or EGo, how them missing good shots is KPJ's fault.

let a real pg run the offense, and i guarantee u we won't b dead last in fg%.

It also doesn't help that kpj sucks at generating good looks for his teammates which leads to whiffs, he also takes a sht ton of inefficient shots all which contributes to the low fg%

They can't see beyond their own narratives.......they don't have a growth mindset.

Why not draft Amen Thompson as a point forward and see how much better this system works with KPJ and Green playing off the ball?

You don't have to think like a dinosaur and only consider a PG.

If only all of these guys could just take 5 foot baby hook shots every possession we would be champs!

It is staggering.....look at our 3pt % lately, it is horrendous, and most of them are wide open.....we just aren't a team of good shooters.

kpj stans refuse to believe that bad passes can influence the chances of the ball going in.

just b/c kpj can get the ball to his teammate doesn't mean that they were set up for "ez looks".

similar to how a kicker needs the holder to place the ball properly to ensure a field goal, kpj needs to pass the ball properly to set his teammates up.

i'm not surprised that the team is struggling to shoot with kpj as pg.

last game nix was able to get 9 assists, while kpj only got like 4. Type of passes matter.

I remember Ryno's 3pt% being a lot higher with passes from CP3 vs Harden, because CP3's passes were to places (usually middle of the chest) where the shooter can easily catch and transition into their shooting motion. Meanwhile, passes from Harden were catchable but often our shooters had to put in more effort catch them and then after that, reset to their shooting motion which allows defenders more time to close the contest gap. But of course since that doesn't show up in the box score, it's fake news right?
