AFC QB’s: Josh Allen 1st round, Mahomes 1st round, Burrows 1st round, Tannehill 1st round, Jackson 1st round, Herbert 1st round, Tua 1st round. See a pattern?

To compete in the AFC, you better get a good 1st round QB.

This is a dream scenario for me. Draft these 2, move Howard to LG, Green to RG and Heck to RT, sign a legit RB to help carry the load with Pierce, Metchie returns and bring in a new OC...all of a sudden there is some excitement with the Texans.

I would love this. Then go after Sean Payton. Hell give him total control and make him the highest paid coach in the NFL. The Texans have nothing to lose. If that means no Caserio then so be it.

I like that he is a bigger, stronger WR.

    Lol

Obviously the McNair's had a crush on South Carolina grad Clownery.

My point stands. Under your way of thinking Bortles would have been the pick because he was the highest rated QB and QB was the Texans greatest need.

Again, missing the point. Just because Bortles was the highest rated QB, doesn't mean he was near the top on the Texans' draft board. You draft a position of need...IF there is someone rated high enough on your draft board. If not, you go to another position or BPA.

The Texans tried to trade down from Clowney. No takers so they took the best player available...on THEIR draft board.

Agreed, but the worst thing you can do is pick a QB that isn't as good as those guys in the 1st rd. And there's not a QB in this draft that has a chance to be as good as any of those guys. IMHO

Um, Young can be. The only knock on Young is size.

Agreed and this is where we disagree.

You think Young can be the 2nd QB in NFL history under 6'0 to win a championship.

I'm think if you were gambling drawing at an inside straight isn't a smart thing to do, even though there's a 10% chance you might hit if everything goes right.

Another question, do you think the Texans org is the org to put a championship team around Young even if he's what you think he is?

The Texans have 21 draft picks and $100 million in cap coming up. They can rebuild quickly....but u cannot wait to draft a QB.

You should wait if you think the QB that you are going to draft cant be as good as the guys you listed.

I'm starting to think the Texans need to draft a QB with both 1st round picks.

The scary part about that video is they said if he is "Picked by the right team". I will leave it at that. But I do think he will end up being our #1 pick, which I have no opinion on at this point. The whole QB situation at this point is befuddling to me.
