what impressed them most about ego is probably his tunnel vision and him going 2-13 in the most important game of his career...

 

package Tate and Gordon for anything you can get. I'm keeping Eason for the time being to see how he pans out.

 

If people are calling about Tate… why wouldn’t you publicly say he is part of the core?

 

I’d add Josh Christopher to that package to sweeten it.

No counter argument on that but you said he is nobody…I didn’t argue if he brings up credible news. He is a media personnel, definitely not a random guy on twitter.

I don’t doubt that but I doubt EG’s value is a NET first round pick in a vacuum. I’m sure all those teams are calling with deals including him and a pick coming the Rockets way. However all those deals likely include contracts coming back that negatively hurt the Rockets cap situation in the future in a way that negates the net value of acquiring the pick.

That’s why I continue to believe the Rockets likely will end up in a buy out scenario come March. At this point it makes better sense to buy the guy out unless Stone has no free agency ambitions in the next two seasons which I seriously doubt.
