The only thing Rockets does beautiul this year is "offensive rebounding" and Alpi is the leading player at that category. The best offensive rebounder in NBA leading offensive rebounding team.
There used to be haters posting here every now and then why he is not best player. Don't see them any more
It was hilarious hearing Hollins trying to hype up Bruno after one simple thing in the game tonight. I'm sitting there going hold up - Sengun does that + offers this which Bruno can't + this as well + this. Was by far the best Rocket on the court and yet still gets minutes as if he's a joke. Good lord.
Rockets' Silas wants more post touches for Sengun https://www.audacy.com/sportsradio6...kets-silas-wants-more-post-touches-for-sengun
"but if he can beat his man up the floor and get a paint seal, we're looking for that, and we haven't gotten that much, so we're definitely going to harp on that a little bit more because I do agree that he needs a few more posts touches.” - Silas Thing is, Sengun doesn't need to beat his man up the floor and seal the paint to score. He can do his post moves, work his way in, and score at will. Silas is putting conditions on whether or not they're going to run post plays for him, knowing full well that he'll usually be outrun by the other center. So this will be his convenient excuse whenever anyone asks why we aren't giving him more post opportunities. "Oh, the more athletic center on the other team beat you up the floor. No post plays for you Sengun." He really doesn't want Sengun involved in the offense this way for whatever reason, it's weird.
Definitely that , but will still come here to talk about Sengun. Had a great came last night and was pretty much the only offense. Hope the Sengunites noticed that most of his points were from assists from the guards out of PNR. Nothing wrong with a healthy dose of PNR action for him, he's great at it. Would love to see him and TyTy run it but that would require Silas to actually have some semblance of a consistent rotation pattern... this dude and his rotations are killing me.
truly baffling. the fact this is a headline should speak volumes. Silas all but confirms that he only sees value in Sengun is post-ups. Sengun should have LESS post touches. that's part of the whole problem. Get.Him.Touches.At.The.Elbow.
I also hope the Sengunites realize that when the game is out of hand at the 6:00 mark of the third quarter, it's not the worst thing in the world for Silas to be playing other combinations to see what happens. Also that if Sengun is put back in when the team is down by twenty or more points--and then Sengun gets HURT--then Silas will be open to all sorts of Sengoony criticism like SILAS WHY THE HELL WAS SENGUN STILL IN THE GAME LONG AFTER IT WAS LOST!!!!!!!!
not baffling at all..coming from the worst coach in last 3 years, son of the record holder for the worst NBA record of all times... i definitely see the pattern and genes at work....
hahah no wayyyyy.....you never see sengun fans criticizing silas for playing sengun surplus minutes... i dare you to find a single instance of this behavior....
this screams racism...if sengun is black colored skin with curly hair, born in america, a new black hope, theres no way they denie him winning the roy and holding him back from becoming nba legend...not in a million years...
