KPJ: Can someone explain to me why he has become Clutchfans favorite whipping boy?

Imagine making Daishen Nix look like a decent NBA point guard. That's how bad of a point guard he is.

 

KPJ was killing it tonight…15 points on 16 shots, but just 1 turnover

Sadly, I think this is his mindset throughout the entire game. It's "Me-Time" from the jump!

 

It’s not a talent thing with him. It’s an attitude thing—and having the right attitude is half the game when you’re trying to be a point guard at any level. If you see a teammate struggling, you try to get him easy shots to ease him out of the funk.

If things are starting to get messy, it’s your job to organize the guys on the floor to refocus.

KPJ does none of those things. He’s easily flustered and oftentimes looks at himself as the best player on the team when he’s clearly not. He dribbles too much and processes too slowly; just compare him in the pick and roll to Jalen, even when both are struggling.

instead of getting people into rhythm he too often forces his teammates OUT of rhythm, like they have to adapt to him and not the other way around. The problem is, he is not a generational type of player that should be given this kind of treatment.

This team has no references or leaders. Silas is a disgrace, Gordon is thinking more about leaving than playing, KPJ with pathetic body language... this is not the ideal environment for the development of young players.
Jalen Green and KPJ are totally incompatible. If Stone and Tilman think Green is the future of this franchise, KPJ has to leave tomorrow (with Gordon and Silas).

 

Sadly, all signs lead me to believe they think KPJ is the future of this franchise. Let’s enjoy this shitty ride for however long it lasts.

 

I agree. This pet project by Stone is going to make us into the Magic for the next decade. If it’s not Stone it will be Green commanding the org to keep KPJ as the PG.

Man is suppose to our b main guy dictating the ball, gets out assisted by Nix of all people.

If nix can rack up assist that easily for a team that cant fking shoots the ball, it cause kpj sucks at setting up his teammates with easy looks
