I really hope he's referring to a different article, for I fear the implications if not.

How tragic this thread is; the pattern he's attempting to project is quickly emerging on his face.

    I hope I'm wrong.

Ok. Can you see how the way you wrote that might be misconstrued as contradictory?

I am suggesting that the New York Times has a history of publishing anti-Israel and anti-semitic content. Not "Nazi sympathies". But typical leftist anti-Israel bias.

In what way is the article quoted by @durvasa "anti-Israel"?

Follow up: in what way is that relevant to your thread?

There are some allegations that the swastika could be part of a pattern.

My big ole bad, I didn't realize I had to explain how 'follow up' questions work.

The answer to the first question is the subect to which the follow up pertains. Addressing the first question is the prerequisite to addressing the follow up.

You do not seem very intelligent. I tried to be patient with you, but since I had to explain a very basic sentence like 5 times to you, I am stopping here.

You were connecting this “anti-Israel bias” at the NYT to a willingness to dog whistle to Nazis, weren’t you?

You yourself made the allegation that an "anti-Israel" article was released on the same day as the crossword in question. Surely you didn't just make that up out of nowhere, so can you please tell me how said article is "anti-Israel"?

    From that article:

"The crossword appeared on the same day that the New York Times published an opinion piece warning against Israel's new government. Prime minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu hit out at the publication on Sunday, writing: "After burying the Holocaust for years on its back pages and demonizing Israel for decades on its front pages, the New York Times now shamefully calls for undermining Israel’s elected incoming government.""

They clearly do not like Netanyahu, he triggers them.

Neither do my Israeli friends. But he won the election.

Oh come, now. Let's just be honest, OK? You made an accusation, are you taking it back or backing it up?

That doesn't look like the New York Times. Am I wrong?

The best you got is another article referencing an opinion piece critiquing policy of the Israeli government? A little disappointing, but ok.

Now, what does this opinion piece critiquing Israeli governmental policy have anything to do with being anti-Israel?

Since I doubt you'll answer honestly, I'll just get to the goods. Do you think being critical of any given policy of any given Israeli administration is antisemitic? Do you realize that you've exposed yourself to an archetypal and critically dangerous antisemitic trope?

Of course you must. Cause you see patterns, right?

By your logic, your Israeli friends are "anti-Israel"?

Bruh, in this thread you are conflating three very different things-

    anti-Semitic
    anti-Israel
    anti-Netanyahu

These are not at all the same. However, it is a common tactic to try and confuse any criticism of Israel as anti-Semitic. Don't be that guy.

Context do matter but no, not even Fox News.

Maybe if you have a default conspiracy mindset. Plenty of them on both sides of the political spectrum.

This reminds of how the old Metrodome roof panels used to form a Swastika in the middle. A friend of mine would always a joke about how the Minnesota Vikings were playin under an Ayran symbol.

When the Metrodome roof collapsed in 2010 the new roof don’t have that nor does US Bank stadium.
