didn't know nolan is doing german superheroes now. is this in the marvel multiverse or under sony? i need to know this. @Xerobull
After seeing the trailers I'm definiately going to see it. I like the story of Oppenheimer and like Christopher Nolan. From the trailers it seems to completely fit into the Every Christopher Nolan movie.
After credits scene: Oppenheimer laughing and putting on the Dr Doom mask as he says ‘I am become….Doom’
I'm a nerd for Nolan so I will be there day one for this but yea I probably won't understand what I watched. Was hoping for Hans Zimmer for the score but must be the dude that did Tenet
The subject matter is great but Nolan does not do biopics and his plots are always convoluted, I like the convoluted but don't see how that fits with Openheimer.
Holy **** he got everybody for this movie it's different actually watching these guys than reading a list of the actors. I wonder what RDJ is doing it seems he would have wanted to play Oppenheimer but Murphy is just too right for that role.
these are fake trailers, they seem to be keeping the actual trailer that was shown before Nope offline for now
Can't wait! My younger son is 18 and will graduate from high school in May. He's a history nerd (wonder where he got that?), and I was really looking forward to seeing this with him...but he's decided to forego college in the short term to be an aircrewman in the Navy first...then to college so he can apply to be an officer and hopefully be admitted into the Navy's flight school. He ships on July 10 for boot camp...so he won't be here when this movie comes out Also, just a reminder that Cillian Murphy is Irish and an amazing actor. Thank you for your time.
Congrats to you and your son! Air Force is the way to go for armed forces. They get treated like royalty.
He's done a ton of research on this. I've been able to connect him to people who flew for both service branches -- fixed wing and rotary. He's not really focused on being treated like royalty (he would cringe at the thought of that), but I don't think Navy pilots are being treated poorly in the service or elsewhere. I've learned a ton through this process. Didn't realize the Navy actually has more aircraft than the Air Force. EDIT: I don't wanna hijack the movie thread...just that this movie was the first thing I was looking forward to doing with him where I realized he won't be here.
