I wonder how much our defense would improve if the offense was middle of the pack

I think we should go defense this draft with 1st pick. Anderson or Carter, and run Mills back out next year lol

It would have to be Will Anderson for me. Regardless, a WR or one of those big TEs need to be the second AND third pick. Whomever the QB, we’ll need weapons. Although Chris Moore has been waking up.

Watson is an overpaid piece of trash predator who has 1 TD in 3 games. He isn't as good as most quarterbacks dude. Root for him if you want, along with the stupid Browns fans. I sure as hell won't.

There is risk with any pick. Even the highest picks can be busts or mediocre. So if risk is inherent in the process, why not gamble where the reward is greatest? Why would you bet on a tackle or a linebacker when you can take a swing at drafting a franchise QB? We drafted one of the best tackles in history and we never even made the conference championship game with him.

I'm not saying you reach for a QB no matter what. But Young is at the top of so many boards. No, he's not a sure thing, because there is no such thing, but he's not a reach by any means. Why not take that bet?

I've been saying this for weeks. Next year's draft QB draft class is NOT good. Bryce Young is another Johnny Manziel.

But anyway, Nick will trade back a few slots for a 3rd rounder then take Stroud. Nick will see Stroud as a classic pocket guy that he will personally coach up and take credit for.

Fast forward 4 years, that 3rd round pick will be on someone else's taxi squad, we'll be hovering around .500, and both Nick and Stroud will get massive extensions because that's how the Texans do business. Book it.

So the answer the data tells you is one QB. You just choose to pick and choose what data you believe in.

I'm choosing to go with the data that says 1.

Give me the data on QB's over 6'5 that have won SB's and I will give you an answer.

You gave me the answer up thread and the answer is no.

    How tall is Flacco?

I dunno if the fans can stomach another season of Mills. Fan following is dropping already thanks to management.

Flacco is 6'6". Tallest to ever win.

I think there were two or three guys at 6'5".

It's funny you said this. I just posted that if the O got semi average some time soon the D is on the field less. More gas in the tank for 2nd half, instead of running on fumes from being out there to long in the 1st half.

    Question, just a question.
    Isn't Russell Wilson 5'11?
    He won a Superbowl correct?

    Yes and that's the point.

    He's the only one.

You think Young is going to be the 2nd one?

I have no idea. I am not for or against drafting him. This whole QB drafting situation this year sucks. Don't have "That Guy" out there. But I also don't bank on us getting the #1 pick next year. With all these draft picks this year, free agency, and the team getting healthy, its a crapshoot.

He certainly could be. The only other short qb drafted high, Kyler Murray, is a head case. As long as Bryce can mentally handle the nfl, I don’t think his height will be the reason he doesn’t win a Super Bowl. Name one team that specifically didn’t make it to the Super Bowl because the qb was short.
