What does a team that starts 10 out of 13 on road go over at practice… it’s amazing how well the Rockets are starting to play now that they have had more home games and ….time to practice
Yep. Rockets had the hardest schedule in the NBA, the schedule they had would have put even playoff teams under .500 much less the 2nd youngest team in the NBA and the Rockets. A lot of these games have been close too, the embarrassing blowouts have not been often enough to be a thing. I still think the Rockets will finish as the 5th-8th worst team, once the schedule lightens up they should really show their growth, especially after the hell schedule the NBA put them through.
I can see us being better than the Pistons, Magic, Spurs, and Hornets if LaMelo is gonna be missing large portions of the season
It will be hard to beat out Pistons, Magic, and Spurs at the bottom. Hornets looks unhinged. The Jazz is surprisingly good, but I won't be surprise if they start sinking like a rock when the schedule gets tougher for them.
Man that Magic franchise must be cursed, I have no idea how that team can be that bad with all that talent? They need some good guards real bad.
Since the home loss against the Rockets, Banchero toned down on his field goal attempts. Dude is in control and they gradually won more games. Love both Wagner bros starting.
That's not true at all really, you can have a cohesive system with proper plays and still suck as a team. I made sure to watch both teams after our last argument about it and you can do the little game of just watching the first half or whatever each time and actively looking at every possession ran, the difference is night&day between Pistons and Houston for example. The number of possessions where Detroit for example goes into a multi-layered play with double screens, horns, backdoor cuts, offball rotations is just much higher, no matter how much you want to deny it and act like ppl are biased or don't watch. And again, that doesn't mean they have to win more because of it, so saying stuff like "then why are they losing by 30pts" etc is useless and not what the discussion is about.
I mean you could just compare the possessions of half of a game or more like I said, instead of this empty talk.
Nah I don't, last time I had this discussion with someone in a chat I actually proceeded to watch one half of both teams and summed up the plays ran in every possession. And the difference is drastic. If you don't want an honest debate about this and just sh** dismissive polemics without substance, then don't reply maybe.
I've watched several games of theirs, the one half example is just to compare actual possessions ran instead of zero analytics watching and then posting fluff about the topic, cheaply dismissing others without really bothering to actually compare. And if you followed them since Cade arrived and don't see a difference (when fans and all journalists see and constantly mention it), maybe you just watch the ballhandler and have zero eye for the rest of basketball.
What fans? Certainly not Pistons fans who have wanted Casey fired for a long time and thought they’d be a 30+ win team this year and possibly make the play-in yawn…you’ve provided nothing of substance, I can’t take u seriously Are u gonna keep quoting me more useless sh*t, or are u done?
Compare an actual half or more of a game and the ran possessions or stop talking, funny you talk about substance when all your posts on the topic completely shy away from the actual games and can be easily debunked by just watching both teams. But guess it works because people here only watch the Rockets.
