    agree 100 percent .

toughest part of those first 20 games for me has been no Tate .

I strongly believe dude is gonna look excellent with better players around him (which our young guys are now )

KJ probably knows EG will stay the starter until the deadline. Plus Tate is coming back (Silas favorite) and will take more minutes from KJ and Tari.

I wouldn’t blame Tari for wanting out either. This is a complete mismanagement of assets by Stone, Silas, any Tilly. Embarrassing.

Meh, this is pretty extreme. KJM and Tari are the first off the bench and play about 20 minutes a night. Could they play more? Sure, but not it’s not some huge problem, especially considering EGO is likely traded soon. I’m guessing Tate will cut more into Nix, Matthew and Garuba’s time than Tari and KJM.

Tate is 100% going to cut into Tari and KJs minutes. Tip jar bet he will either start over EG or come in to back him up at the 3.

Some dirty three way that sends
Gordon and KJ with the Rockets getting Nembhard from the Pacers. Loves passing and can shoot from three.

i just think KMJ has come so far and is still young. Wouldnt trade him for anything other than a 12th pick or so. Id offer him 3 Years 38 million and see if he will sign.

Tate and Gordon need to be sent to a contender to boost their title chances.

Tate+Gordon+Bucks pick for Jovic and a top 10 protected pick in 2027.

Last couple months, KJ was winning the court of public opinion. This news is taking some of that shine away.

Tari Eason should be starting. Martin is probably the worst of the 4.

Bolded stats indicate the best numbers of the group:

    https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/e/easonta01.html
Tari Eason 2023 (25 games, 471 minutes played):
    8.8 points / 5.4 rebounds / .9 assists
    .438% FG / .380% 3p / .842% FT
    .525% TS / 20.0% usage / .7 BPM / .3 VORP / 17.9 PER

    https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/m/martike04.html
Kenyon Martin Jr. 2023 (25 games, 608 minutes played):
    10.7 points / 5.1 rebounds / 1.4 assists
    .540% FG / .314% 3p / .661% FT
    .617 TS / 16.7% usage / -.6 BPM / .2 VORP / 15.0 PER

    https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/g/gordoer01.html
Eric Gordon 2023 (21 games, 633 minutes played)
    12.4 points / 2 rebounds / 2.6 assists
    .442% FG / .354% 3p / .863% FT
    .587% TS / 17.0% usage / -2.0 BPM / 0.0 VORP / 11.3 PER

    https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/t/tateja01.html
Jae'sean Tate (career numbers used due to injury absence in 2023)
    11.5 points / 5.3 rebounds / 2.7 assists
    .501% FG / .311% 3p / .701% FT
    .571 TS / 18.0% usage / -1.6 BPM / .4 VORP* / 14.0 PER

Martin sure as hell doesn't look like he wants to go anywhere when he's on the court. I think this article was literary fiction.

Reality is that even if Rockets get a FRP for KMJ now through a contending team or a 3rd team the pick would be protected at least top 14 and probably ends up being in mid 20”s. I’m ok with Gordon getting us that type of Pick but KMJ type of talent is rare to find so Rox should wait til Deadline and make a team overpay if the rumors are indeed true and he really wants out, getting more picks will only make our existing issue even worse of having too many young guys and not enough mins to keep any one satisfied.
To open up playing time for Tari, Christopher and TyTy I came up with this Trade

    Suns get KMJ ,EG,, Nix

Warriors get: Crowder, Gary Bird ,Garuba, and Rockets 2023 unprotected FRP (Bucks)

Rockets get:: Kuminga, Saric, Suns 2nd Rd Pick,

Ok its easier to just admit you were wrong instead of creating some fantasy trade.

To be fair a collection of picks can be used to trade for good veterans when this team is ready to be playoff caliber.

So the Suns get KMJ and Gordon for a 2nd Rd pick? Saric and Crowder are dead weight on their roster that they are desperate to drop. If anything, Suns send a 1st that we re-route to GSW and we keep the MIL pick.
